I've stayed here many times for my work and I'm happy to go back any time. The girls in the front desk are very helpful, and some of them speak good English (and some of them not at all). for the internet you need to login with a Russian cellphone number. The lobby bar is small but comfy, the beer...

Reasonable hotel for its price. The only normal accommodation in Yakutsk. About 30 minutes from airport. Reasonable breakfasts. There are good business lunches available for normal price. 2 ATMs available.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights, during a business trip. It looks good from the outside, it's rather lux in the lobby, the mammoth in the lobby is impressive. It took 10 minutes to find the entrance, because the main entrance was under construction, and the sign pointed to the right of the building, however the entrance was on...

Reasonably good rooms, with large beds. Breakfast is not good and neither is the service at the breakfast. You have to bring your vouchers for breakfast and I forgot those in my room. I couldn't sit an have breakfast, I had to go get the vouchers. Is not like anybody really wants to come in and eat there, even if...

Given that I felt like I was travelling to the ends of the earth to reach Yakutsk, I didn't have high expectations for finding a good hotel here. I was pleasantly surprised. Also known as the Polar Star hotel, I found it clean, comfortable and above all, WARM (important when it's minus 39 outside). Rooms were a bit dated and...

First, this hotel (also known as the Hotel Polar Star) is probably the best hotel that international business travelers will find in Yakutsk, based on my experience and that of my business colleagues. I recently spent three weeks in the hotel. I found that the food was above average, the rooms fairly comfortable, the room WiFi was stable, and enough...

Despite this hotel is promoted as an excellent one they have some problems to solve. I've spent there 2 days. Running water from all the devices was too hot first. When I called to receprtion to inform them abt this problem, I've got advice to turn water on and to wait. In 20 minutes of waiting temperature of water was...

This hotel should be rated as good for Russia. Because it's not completely average. I've stayed here for many times for work sometimes up to 4 weeks and I'm happy to go back any time. The girls in the front desk are very helpful, and some of them speak very good English. The internet isn't very good and sometimes not...

I stayed at the North Star Hotel in Yakutsk for three nights. I found the bed very comfortable, the staff really friendly and the food was pretty good too although most of my meals were taken elsewhere. I stayed in a 'posh' hotel in Moscow and frankly found the North Star more to my liking. More of a homey kind...

Actually, common German two-star hotel beats this Best of Yakutia lodging on any front. Too much pompa, too much glamour. But, actually, typical soviet "gostinnitsa", and nothing more. Rooms - nothing special, but towels ARE very aged. Water in system is "coloured" - yellow-red, thanx God not smelly. Couldn't connect teapot. Half of electric sockets didn't work. Restaurants. Prices -...
