Very nice family, very delicious homecooked food, beautiful surroundings. Only a quick tuktuk ride to Habarana Bus Station. Good location for exploring the cultural triangle. Ama was a very helpful host and even took us to dinner with his friend and coconut Arrack! Would totally recommend Amas place for anybody looking for a local experience.

This place was the perfect blend of home-cooked meals, ample privacy/space, ambient music, and enthusiastic service. Our host, Ama, was lovely. After helping us figure out what adventures we wanted to do and which days were best to do them on he arranged an amazing afternoon elephant safari, an early morning ride to Sigiriya (he even put together a snack package for us with coconut rotis and chocolate milk), a fully chauffeured (with air conditioning) trip through the expansive grounds of Polonnaruwa and affordable door-to-door transportation to our next hotel Negombo. 5 star service at 2 star prices. Would definitely stay here again. πŸ’™πŸ˜πŸ¦šπŸΈπŸŒ΄πŸ˜Ž

I went there with my daughter (5 y.o.) and my wife. It’s a typical Sri Lankan guesthouse, completely hidden in the green (rice plantation, banana and palm trees) extremely close to the city of Habarana less than 1 km). The room is large and comfortable, with AC, TV and hot water. Outside of the rooms there is a beautiful garden, populated by lots of animal, especially peacock. We had a very pleasant and relaxing days. Ama, the owner, was very kind with us, preparing dinner (good!) and helping with a lost luggage.

This is a very quiet 2 room bungalow resort. It was very peaceful within lovely gardens where you can see peacocks & many birds. The owners Ama & his mother are very kind & made us feel so welcome. Mama's home cooking was delicious & fresh. A great place to relax in a peaceful location.
