We recommended this place for the staff and to listen the music. Local band play wonderful Tinariwen and others. We spent unique and magical evening at Sidi Bounou. Best in our seven days trip to Morocco.

Staying at Dar Sidi Bounou made our time in M'Hamid perfect. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. On our first night we were even welcomed with a music jam session! At the time we visited, the tents were not set up yet, but they looked like a really cool budget option. We stayed in the main building,...

This place was recommended to us by "Let's go 2 Morocco" (please look them up on Facebook) just 2 nights before we showed up at their gate. What a fine find! It was pretty empty the day we arrived; worked out to our benefit. Boudi was very welcoming, served us our favourite mint tea. We felt at home immediately. I...

We stayed unfortunately only 1 night at the Dar Sidi Bounou. It is a perfect place to relaxe and we would recommend a 2-3 day stay. We stayed in he hut - it is nice little hut, with basic interior. The best part is the location - you are after 5 minute walk in the middle of the desert. Furthermore...

If you’re going to the desert, this is the launching pad from M’Hamid. Nancy, Boudi and their team will be sure you’re ready. They can also arrange the desert excursion itself. The various rooms in the main house, external cabins or tents are all perfect for getting you in the desert mood. If you just want to relax in the...

Dar Sidi Bounou is a perfect place to relax in the Sahara. Picturesque dunes are a 5 minute's walk away as well.. Nancy, Daud and the whole staff became friends in a very short amount of time and they really made this Saharan experience a deeply memorable one. Would love to come back here in the future.

This is an excellent place to chill out. Dar Sidi Bounou offers authentic southern Moroccan hospitality. Accommodation is in rooms in the main house, in adobe chalets, or in tents by the dunes. Nancy and Daoud are excellent hosts, and the Idir, Mohamed and all the other staff are wonderful. The food - I recommend full board - is a...

Lovely welcome from Nancy, Daoud and staff. Simple but more than adequate room with roof terrace and great food. The compound with its mud-built house is just off the road and backed by sand-dunes. Lots of lovely dogs and cats, though not intrusive.Donkey cart rustled up for enthralling trip to two kasbahs, one of which is fast being reclaimed by the...

A completely authentic experience with lovely food and music on the edge of the sand dunes. A warm welcome here for the more artist minded or those interested in local culture. A visit and a stay at Bounou is a must if you venture past Zagora to where the road runs out and the desert begins.
