Stayed here for a couple of nights in February. The host was very welcoming and was more than happy to share his enthusiasm for the local area and Morocco in general. This made the experience very memorable. The rooms were clean and well sized and the grounds pleasant to walk around. Would definitely recommend going on one of the tours the host offers- gets you great views of the desert. Hope to come back some day!
We looked around mhamid for a hotel and found this beautiful hotel. The building is authentic and has a very nice swimming pool if you need to cool down. The dinner was nice and the people working there would do anything to make you feel at home. We did the jeep tour and found the desert a true gem, would highly recommend staying here if you visit mhamid!
We stayed one night at the Carrefour de Nomades, it was a delightful experience. The old kasbah is carefully restored, considering all aspects of comfortable accommodation. The rooms are tidy and clean, bathrooms well equipped, ambience overall extremely charming. We arrived early afternoon, and it was great to chill at the pool next to the sand desert. Dinner and breakfast unstained, service professional and very very friendly. We had lots of fun and laughed a lot with Luc, Hassan and Mohammed. Thank you all for your splendid hospitality, this time it was just a stopover, next time we definitely will stay for some days!
Fabulous place to stay before crossing the centre of the sand sea. Everything you need hot and cold showers, wifi, swimming pool, great food and brilliant host Luke who made us the best Belgium fries. Really recommend.
We camped at Carrefour des Nomades after a very long and hot day of crossing overland from Merzouga on the 13th day of an overland trip. The place was lovely, and Luc was an amazing host. Although we camped, we got a look at the rooms and they were lovely and had air con. The pool was a fantastic way to cool down. Dinner was probably our favorite part of the evening - the kitchen has a great cook with options other than tangine (which you may tire of after a few weeks in morocco) and they even put together a great vegetarian meal! I'd stay here again and recommend this place to those who happen to make it to M'hamid. Now off to Erg Chagaga.
