Last august, my girlfriend and me, we spent 4 days in Sant'Egle (yes mea culpa, I took a bit of time before writing my very first advice on TripAdvisor) and we were disappointed because we booked only 4 days. We could have stay more. Why ? First of all, we felt out of time in the peaceful little heaven of...

Absolutely fabulous place set in glorious countryside - beautiful room, great hosts, enchanting setting - couldn't ask for more and we extended our stay the moment we checked in. I would completely recommend this to anyone exploring the Maremma.

A most peaceful and relaxing location. Alessandro and Erika were such easy and wonderful hosts and attended to every need and request. Beautiful, fresh, excellent food. The surrounding villages are gorgeous. Erika had arranged for a day hike for us which was fantastic. We felt we learned so much about the region. Hope to get back again. It was sublime.

Erika and Alessandro were wonderful hosts! My husband, mother, 10-month-old baby and I stayed at Sant'Egle for two nights during our weeklong trip through Tuscany, and it was the perfect respite. We enjoyed a sunset apertivo the night we arrived, complete with melt-in-your-mouth meats and cheeses and delicious local vino rosso. And the next day Erika led a cheese-making course...

This experience wasn't anything like we had expected. Rather than going to a beautiful and relaxing commercial establishment, it was more like staying at a friend's place for a couple of days. A "beautiful and relaxing" friend's place, to clarify. What had made it even more magical was the excellent meal crafted by Alesandro (and supervised by Erika) for us....

We stayed for 3 nights in San't Egle and really loved it. The agriturismo is located about 2 km outside of Sorano in the Toscanian nature. Lovely, individual rooms in an old stone building. A biological pool is allowing a refreshing bath after visiting the beautiful villages (e.g. Sorano, Pitigliano) nearby. The restaurant is offering every evening a different biologic/organic...

Where to begin! I looked all over Tuscany for a "home base" for our vacation in Italy and was beyond pleased with Sant' Egle! The owners, Erica and Alessandro, are not only welcoming, friendly, inviting, helpful, but do it in such a fabulous environmentally friendly way as well. We booked the Minimal room which we loved! It was beautiful, quiet...

It is the ambience of Sant'Egle that is so special. Erika and Alessandro have created a unique experience with quirky furniture and decor with some fantastic up-cycling both in the house and in the garden. They clearly love the farm and all that they are doing there and this translates into it being a very happy place to visit. They...

Great people, great location. Organic farm - I adore what the owners have done in such a short time since they started. Tastefully renovated rooms - spacious and clean - including the bathroom! I love the upcycling concept! Wonderful vegetarian breakfast. Nice shop: they sell lots of homemade products including safron and spirulina. Olive oil was sold out - unfortunately....
