Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My boyfriend made a reservation for a hotel stay to celebrate my birthday back in November 2023. We were warmly greeted by Chris and received an upgrade to a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower as a birthday reward. The room was immaculately clean and decorated with balloons, fruits & cake, and a handwritten card, which made it extra special to me. Not only did we have a pleasant stay with very comfortable, restful sleep on the high-quality bed, but I was also gifted a St. Regis bear as a birthday gift from the hotel, handed to me by Chris. This gesture surprised and moved me deeply. I highly recommend this hotel, and I would like to extend a huge thank you to Chris! My birthday was absolutely memorable thanks to your excellent greetings and service :)

I am Ms. Qu from 3706. Last time I came, it was a typhoon. I came to the front desk to inquire about some tourist attractions in Macau. At that time, I saw that she was supposed to leave work, but when she saw me coming, she still received me. She told me for nearly 30 minutes and went to many places according to her recommendation. We had a lot of fun and chatted very well. This time we came again, and surprisingly, we saw the little sister giving small toys to my children. The children were very happy, I forgot her name, but I specifically wrote this comment to thank you. I remember her surname is Zhang and she said she attended a university in Nanjing. It's nice to meet her,

Amazing stay in Regis during the Valentine's day and the Chinese New Year!!! I forgot my iphone in the cab and the concierge team helped to contact the driver and got my phone back in no time🥳🥳Really appreciate their effort! The view from our room is really beautiful and our butler Leo is very professional and considerate. He brought us this lovely little Loong bear, fruits and the sweet Valentine card! Thank you very much! 😃 We have a remarkable time during our stay in Regis and looking forward to coming back!

When I first came to the St.regis in Macau, it was the front desk staff Diana who checked in. I was very happy that she shared a lot of advice with me, as well as the itinerary of the surrounding travel. She was very enthusiastic and friendly to children, The smile is also very good and the enthusiastic service is also the reason why I chose the Stregis in Macau again. This time, I brought my family over and booked two rooms. I am a guest from 2104. Although I still remember Diana the last time I came, I just greeted her when I saw her busy. She remembered me and called me later to see if I needed an extra fruit. She was really happy to see that I brought many children with me this time, Next time, I will choose the Stregis in Macau

Hey Miller! Just wanted to drop you a message to say a massive thank you for being an amazing hostess! You really went above and beyond to help us host our best friend's birthday party. Firstly, securing us a room was such a relief and really made the whole event possible. And not only that, but the surprise you organized for the birthday boy was fantastic! He was completely blown away. Your assistance with the food choices was also greatly appreciated. Thanks to your recommendations, we had the perfect spread for our party. It's clear that the management at St. Regis Macao has done an incredible job training their staff to provide top-notch hospitality. We truly felt like we were being taken care of every step of the way. Once again, thank you so much for everything, Miller. We really couldn't have asked for a better hostess. Well done!

St Regis Manor is fabulous. You will immediately love the atmosphere, the layout, the beautiful horse painting on the wall. It certainly represents St Regis delicacy. The manager Joel and staff Yvonne are amazing and the set menu is a good value that you cannot find in other places. Love to meet the chef next time for a dinner

Few days ago we stayed at the St. Regis Macao to celebrate our daughter's birthday and it was truly a "Live Exquisite experience". As you enter, you're immediately greeted by the staff and personally escorted for the check-in. Check-in was smooth and efficient. We were then taken to our room by a butler who was very friendly and professional. The room was beautifully decorated with plenty of balloons and stuffs...the next day we went to the pool, nice and clean moreover, you have the amazing view of the big ben tower from the pool. It was our second stay at the St. Regis and surely, more to come...A massive thanks to the St. Regis team for looking after us.

St Regis Macau has the best staff around; They go out of their way, are extremely helpful and friendly and I cant praise them enough. I would like to praise one particular staff by the name of Xyryl Amor. I had some issues with my booking and he went out of his way to help me in it! Janson wrote a review Dec 2023

My family stayed at St. Regis Macao from Dec. 19 -Dec. 23, 2023. To our pleasant surprise, St. Regis Macao upgraded our 4 night stay to Suite Room 2717. But to our utter shock and disbelief, we couldn’t use the room’s refrigerator because it was locked! We called butler service (Spoke with Catherine) and she said they would unlock and let us use the refrigerator, but not until they clear the refrigerator of all the refreshments. (The refreshments are not included with the room and are not free of charge) This made my family disappointed as we were treated like petty thieves who would take the drink without paying. To further embarrass us they would need to send a butler to clear the refrigerator in front of us to make sure we didn’t take their drinks once they unlock the refrigerator. I then spoke with the Supervisor Cassandra about this embarrassing situation about how Catherine would speak to us in this manner. Cassandra said she would send a butler up to our room to unlock the refrigerator. The butler came up to our room and held in hand a device that seemed to help to unlock the refrigerator. He embarrassed my uncle and made him feel like a fool and immediately opened the refrigerator, and told him it wasn’t locked! You have to try both the left and right side of the refrigerator door to open it. Before we called, we tried all sides, left, right, top, and bottom of the refrigerator and it would not budge open. As I explained, to Nancy, the front desk manager, the only we could have opened it is if we used a hammer. It was locked airtight! Before I spoke with Nancy about this issue, my uncle asked a staff member if the refrigerator was remotely controlled to open and close it. The staff member said yes. Cassandra who came up to our room asked us if the butler came up to our room with a device, we said yes. This device was used to remotely open the refrigerator. So basically the butler lied to us and said the refrigerator was unlocked, but the fact is the refrigerator was locked! The only way refrigerator could have been open if it is locked, is by St. Regis staff that is remotely controlled, not by the hotel guests. The butler who opened the refrigerator was rude and made my uncle feel like idiot and told him to check both sides of refrigerator. Only way refrigerator can be opened is the staff, not by guests if the hotel has locked it! Catherine was demeaning and said they need to clear out the refrigerator before we can use it. I personally spoke to Cassandra and Nancy about this issue. They assured me they will follow up with this issue. I explained to Nancy there is better ways of handling this situation, like clearing out the refrigerator before giving us a room if you were so concerned of guests taking drinks without paying. From top to bottom, this is a very poor representation of St. Regis Macao and extremely disappointing. Your guests should not be treated in this manner, especially during Christmas holidays and with New Year coming up.

Spent one night here on a weekday. Room was very spacious with excellent amenities. Gigi who helped us checking in and out was extremely friendly and always willing to accomodate our request. The butler service was attentive as well. As a Marriott gold member booked through FHR, enjoyed decent in room dining worth MOP800. Had breakfast at the restaurant which was also delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay though not getting a room upgrade might be a miss.
