Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed last January 2 to 4 to spend Holiday season in Macau and we chose Harbourview Hotel because we checked some reviews and it was a positive feedback。 Our experienced was totally enjoyable。 First we were given a big room by RECEPTION。 Second the service of the bellman was truly amazing。 The restaurant of the hotel was nice。Until our checked out we were amazed by the service of the staff。 We will comeback again for sure。

The Harbourview Hotel in Macau is one of the best places I have ever been to. Originally I planned to stay there three nights but I prolonged my stay because I liked it so much. The hotel is located very close to the center of Macau (technically almost everything is within walking distance) and the ferry station is nearby, too. Also, there are two bus stops right next to the hotel, in case you want to explore Macau by public transport, e.g., the Macau Tower is 6 bus stops away and the bus runs in every 10-15 mins. The hotel size is very European and it is likeable, meaning that it is easy to navigate within the hotel itself. The rooms really look like the photos on the internet: huge rooms, furnished with this beautiful classy romantic style furniture, excellent quality textiles, you have the feeling that you are sleeping in a fancy European castle. The bed was also very good, the comforter was real thick and there were more types of pillows (firmer and softer as well). The bathroom had a free standing bathtub AND a separate shower, all beautiful and spacious. There is heating in the rooms, when I visited Macau, nights were a bit chilly so heating was quite useful indeed. If you want breakfast, you have to buy it every day separately. The breakfast is great, lots of variety, Asian and European tastes are equally taken into consideration,e.g., many kinds of fresh fruit and excellent coffee. There is no takeaway, you are supposed to eat your breakfast in the restaurant and you are not supposed to take food up to the room. The swimming pool is gorgeous, it is long enough to swim but if you just want to relax, there are three whirpool jacuzzi pools with warmer water. They give you a swimming cap (I forgot to bring mine). Towels are heated. The fitness room is very well equipped, too. Some level of fitness clothing is required, they won't let you run on the treadmill in sandals (which is perfectly understandable). Staff was nice and kind, they really want to make you feel good. Eddie U, the Front Desk Manager is always around to help, he is a very knowledgeable person and we had great conversations. Exor, at the front desk, he is always super nice and helpful, he went above and beyond to make my stay excellent. Roxane was a great help at the breakfast choices and Henry Aaron cleaned my room every day nice and tidy. Thank you all for making my stay so wonderful there. I will sure return one day to this amazing place.

The hotel is well maintained and the staff were helpful. The pool requires a swim cap that will be provided. There are also 3 jacuzzi s (all the same temp). The area is in transition as a small casino has closed so the shopping district is also suffering.

The hotel is a classic eastern europe baroque style. Well located in macau peninsula, nearby is sands casino just accross the building. Also bus stop just a minute walk. The room is very neat and clean. Staff is friendly and responsive. They did give me quite detail information about my queries. I remembered one of the concierge staff with initial "J" was very helpful when I asked about the transportation in Macau. Good Job👍👍.. Recommended hotel😊😉

I am a frequent traveler from Hong Kong and Macau. I have checked the reviews of this hotel. I would say the check in was a little slow. The bellman was in the lobby and helped me with our luggages. The HsKP was approachable and the Gym attendant was also good. I will comeback again for sure. Kudos to the Philippine man who were very attentive when I see him in the lobby.

It was a great 3 day and 2 nights stay. The concierge staff- Jed provided amicable service. Just to note that this hotel is walking distance from the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal- 10 mins walk. Also, we were delighted to know that 'Sands Hotel' opposite this hotel provided free shuttle services to the Cotai Strip Lane- The Parisian, The Londoner, Venetian. The rooms were great and spacious, really felt like royal 😌. Service was top notch and staff were friendly. Will come back to stay here again!
