After a very long day/night of traveling we arrived at the Grand Emperor. The night staff were so lovely and helpful. we had a party of 8 and all our rooms were central to each other and we all had different views of the city. The changing of the guards is great to watch. I had a massage in the...

Good: -This hotel is a winner, because for the price of its rooms, you get a bigger room not found in other 5 star hotels. -I love its location, near to Yaohan, & opposite Grand Lisboa Hotel. -Plenty of eateries outside the hotel. -The lobby is grand & watch out for the "real gold bars" hidden into the flooring. Bad:...

We were a little apprehensive before choosing this hotel, but must say it didn't disappoint us. Typical English deco in the front facade, heard that the two Buckingham-ish guards are from Romania though. Clicked pictures with the floor laid with 88 gold bars and even tried my luck in the casino supposedly owned by Jackie Chan, but without any success!...

The hotel was okay i guess. Smaller room than I had expected and not very grand even though thats the name of the hotel. However, perhaps I have been spoiled by going from the Galaxy hotel downgrading to this one. Its fine if you want something cheap and cheerful. The buffet was mediocre but edible.

Reception was helpful and if someone did not understand english they would find someone for you. Got free upgraded to the exective floors which entilted us to dring and hotel vouchers. The room was modern and clenliness...

We wanted to stay in town, and we chose the Grand Emperor. We were very happy with our choice; great lobby, clean/modern room with great view, great service, and an excellent Chinese restaurant. Fast check in and no problem getting into the room before noon, when we arrived. It was about 10-15 minutes from the airport using a taxi. The...

Hotel is located right in the city, very near to Lisboa/Grand Lisboa. When you first enter the lobby, you'll probably notice the 1kg gold bars on the floor of the lobby. Service is great, from the front desk to the concierge. There is only 1 floor of non-smoking rooms though. All other floors are smoking. The casino is from the...

I've stayed in several hotels in Macau, but never in the heart of the casino district. I picked the Grand Emperor solely for its location, but was pleasantly surprised by their service standards! Reception, Room Service, Housekeeping, Concierge - they were all friendly, eager very very efficient. And this despite many of the staff not being very comfortable with English...
