Clean and tidy hotel with all the basic ammeneties provided. Helpful hotel staff and an hourly shuttle bus that drops off to the ferry terminal or border gate. Limited channels on the TV.. The location of the hotel is on a steepish hill and taxis will need a hotel card for directions.

I usually end up staying here when I'm in Macau. It's a bit quirky but charming. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but still very nice and a good value for the price. It's a bit away from everything which is nice since it's more quiet and everything in Macau is so close you're only ever a few minutes walk from... More

This place isn't in the most convenient area, but it is a good hotel. We had a good stay in a clean and well kept room. It does make going up to the lighthouse very easy and isn't super far from the casinos on the peninsula. And the room prices were very reasonable compared to bigger properties in Macao.

Seems to have been recently renovated. Everything new and very clean. Located up a steep hill. 15 min walk to Grand Lisboa area. Hourly hotel shuttle to ferry outer harbour and Grand Lisboa. Quite good value.

... had to change room once, but still the smoking smell persists that I even had trouble sleeping. This despite them moving me twice to non-smoking rooms on non-smoking floors. The problem is that folks smoke indiscriminately regardless of where they are. In reality this is a hotel popular with Chinese tourists (because of the price?) and has not much... More

It is a 30 minutes drive from the ferry terminal, on the same side of the island. Check-in was swift, was given a free upgrade. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Rooms are facing the road, so noise level is high. You need to take a bus/cab to the Venetian or galaxy hotel. Bus stop is 10 mins walk downhill,... More

I stayed here only for 1 night. This is a very economical hotel and is very centrally located. The Guia Lighthouse & St. pauls ruins are just a short walk away from here. The rooms are clean and color scheme is lively. The view from balcony is not that great. You really have to lean out to get a view... More

Recently stayed at the Guia Hotel and found this to be an ok accommodation option for visitors to Macau. Reservations were made through booking.com and price for a Sunday night stay was very affordable. In the end, hotel stay was decent but there are better options around the city to consider. What I liked: Hotel General 1.) Check-in & service... More

This was a nice hotel, nothing special. Clean and tidy, rooms were well appointed. I felt it was a little overpriced but was otherwise an enjoyable experience. Macau is an interesting place with lots of places of historical interest. Seems to be in a state of constant development though (Macau, not the hotel)

First let me mention that I was given a free upgrade to a balcony room. This made it a great deal for the price. The room was excellent. There was no bar on the premises (or nearby) so I had a beer in the club in the basement. Which turned out to be a strip club. A beer cost $8.... More
