I frequently visit Macao and if you want a nice place to stay outside the casino buzz, this is the one to go. It is an educational hotel, but run so perfectly that you do not want to go to a "professional" one any more. The students are just great, the food is just great, the rooms are tasteful and...

Stayed for 2 Nights over Xmas New year period when everybody is in Holiday mode and all services are usually not available. Took the Hong Kong Airport Ferry Service direct to Macao. No problems, booked return journey on i-net. Easy connection through HK airport without clearing HK customs/immigration. Hong Kong end of service extremely efficient and fast. Macao end of...

Macau is a place where you can find a lot of hidden jewels like this one, all you need is to look for them. This little hotel belongs to a school of hotel management. Everything is perfect. The building is located on a little hill and it's decorated with portuguese tiles, the rooms are spotless and very well equipped. The...

We walked 30 minutes (with a very slow pace) from the pier to the hotel, and you can taste a lot of local snacks. The suite is ~700 sq. ft and the docor is a mix of colonial Macau and Chinese, but the electric appliances, computers and sanitaries are up to date. Room is tidily cleaned. If you want to...

Room: Tip top condition, with touch of Macau in the furniture. The only bad thing about the hotel is the location, it's up the hill, so need to hike abit if you're taking public transportation. Well, since we eat a lot in Macau, i guess a little bit of exercise would be good! Food: Buffet breaskfast was great. Dinner served...

What an amazing place to stay... the location is fantastic (beautiful area to walk around, easy to get the free shuttle, local bus or taxi and quiet), the rooms are beautifully decorated, beds comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, computers and wireless in every room and to top it all off... the staff are all wonderful. If you want to stay in...

I'd consider this government-run facility a boutique hotel of sorts. Nice mix of Portuguese architecture. Nothing fancy or sparkly unlike the giant hotels in Taipa, but definitely worth the stay. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Make sure you request for full amenities in for the bathroom. The best part about the room is free wifi AND the Dell PC...

I have visited Macau on business for a few days or a week every January for the past 11 years, and have stayed at the Pousada for the last five - now I don't want to stay anywhere else. The enthusiastic young staff make this place, and the facilities and rooms are good. The free internet is a good, fast...
