Posada means a place of repose and that is exactly what Pousada de Mong Ha is. From the warm and nothing is too much trouble greeting when you arrive to the delicious homemade yoghurt and bread and breakfast this is a place to regain your strength before you start out to tour beautiful Maucau. The number 25 bus at the...

Some may complain about the location being not very central, but I found it great. It's quiet and you really get to see the local life. Rooms super clean, staff (who are students from the Tourism Academy) are friendly and always willing to help. The Educational Restaurant is also a delight. I loved the jam & honey at breakfast. I...

This is a quiet part of Macau, near to wonderful Chinese temples and the Guia fortress and lighthouse. The reference to 'en cocotte' is to the baked breakfast eggs with spinach, ham and/or fish. A delicious alternative to the standard buffet breakfast. En cocotte also refers to the lovely hill clad with trees, bushes and gardens that surrounds the Institute...

Stayed here twice and I am glad to say that both times, I've had great experiences here. Great interior decor and very good breakfast. Staff was helpful and polite, and always eager to please. The location is a bit out of the way, and being situated on top of a small hill, it can be a bit of a challenge...

Good little Pousada. Staff is very eager to help with any requests. Was a little bit disappointed by breakfast because I was expecting more Portuguese style options, but it was still very delicious. Located on top of a hill next to a former fort good for a scenic walk in the morning. Easy enough to get to where you want...

For my one-night stay in Macao I chose the Pousada del Mong-ha, based upon good reviews I found on the net. I made the right choice. The room was nice, clean and cozy, with all comforts. Breakfast was stunning, with top quality food. But the kindness and halpfulness of the staff was absolutely superlative: the hotel is managed by the...

The more northern part of the Macanese peninsula is often overlooked largely because most of the action appears to be taking place around the central and southern parts. However, if mass tourism and gambling isn't your thing and you are looking for a more laid back visit to Macau then you can't really do much better than a stay at...

I've been staying here every time I visit Macau. I don't mind the big casinos, but I personally don't enjoy them. Macau is a beautiful place that has the Chinese/Cantonese culture, with the background of Portugal and Spain. It's a place with an amazing story and history, and I feel like the casinos are ruining that. That being said, Pousada...

There is a side Hotel to the Culinary Educational School and the delectable Restaurant, which even received a Michelin Guide mention for many years. The kitchen is helmed by Professional Chefs as a guarantee, in the meanwhile new students are taught and trained on the premise. Very meaningful yet with trustworthy food! The Hotel side is predominately Portuguese in design....
