I traveled to Macau several times and this visit was the first time that I stayed at Macau side. I booked MO for the location and I love everything else as well.
Pre-arrival, I mentioned to reservation that I was coming to Macau for a meeting; their concierge team replied me with address of the office and arranged a trasnportation for me. Which is truly a luxury service is about..

From the moment I was met by the airport rep to bring me to the hotel car, comfortable temp. in the car, MO music was playing; the driver engaged short conversation with me and invite me to drink some water and enjoy the short ride to the hotel.
The Welcome at the hotel was warm and super efficient, I was then escort by Kay to my lake view room. Dining options was offered by Kay since I only had a snack on the flight to Macau and it's already passed lunch hours.

The design of the room is not super modern, but it's VERY comfortable. Things are in the right place, water pressure was great in the shower, very quiet room, the view from the tub made me take a long long bath.

Housekeepers kept my room super nice and clean, bottle water was replenish, fruit was replaced daily. The alcohol wipes and paper cover for masks are a very sweet touch during COVID 19.

Concierge team was super friendly and efficient comes to arranging everything, Justin was truly a gem; Dee was always there with a big smile behind his mask!

I had breakfast daily and visited the bar one night for few drinks, the team over there always engaged friendly conversation and took great care of me.

If you are still trying to find the right place for your visit to Macau, and can't decide where to stay... MO will be your great home away from home.

I joined the HSBC Red Hot Special Offer - Celebration Spring Package - Staycation: 1 May 2022 (one night)
1) I was unable to enjoy early check-in at 12, only 15:00 is written in the booking confirmation slip. I booked 15:30 spa and 19:00 for dinner.
2) After arrived at the lobby at 15:00 and standing to wait till 15:25 queue up for check in due to full occupied lobby and concierge and no sofa available. Then we have no choice we moved to Spa to have snack first, since feeling a bit hungry and Spa at 15:30.
3) Spa receptionist provided 2 hot tea and bring us to a dark to for food which all nuts seem to wet and near the expiry day. A female staff mentioned to let us still have to do testing and wait coz all rooms still need to be cleaned and put the spa testing sample and disappear till 16:10. We start to feel very cold in the dark room and did not want to eat the wet nuts and wants to ask for menu but no button to call them back. Finally one foreign stay lady stated that we can order hot food with menu and rearrange the food and Spa at 17:15.
4) After arrived the Waterfront Suite discovered that there are fruit which all of them are too sour. The card which was written by Christian Dolenc GM with errors wordings "Stay with at at Mandarin Oriental!" Too bad and so sad mood with the raining night of cancellation with the Drone show held from the Macau Government Tourism Office. Second step walk to near the bed and discovered two slippers were badly open and display just next to two side of the bed. Bath room there is not enough comb and show cap as well.
5) Dinner time was wrongly written at the receipt booked 19:00 and it was written 18:30. Lemon tart change to too much cream too sour unlike the previous lemon tart which enjoyed with the Marketing before which was so sad in the end of the night as well. Only the Beef Wellington was okay for eating.
6) The rain drop can be heard with noisy sound the whole night which i could not sleep and sit stay awake in the sitting room.
7) The swimming pool water is so cold which was not mention as 28 degree. Noone told me that there was wet cold tower for sauna and put so far only in the gym room but not at the sauna room. Main point is no one tell me there was sometime in the next room. It was myself to discover it after the swimming.
8) Breakfast still need to queue up form 10:00 to 10:15. The main point there were many seats really but give to the other mandarin speaker no Macanese. But i line up first.
9) In the end, it was a nightmare experience for me to stay in Mandarin Oriental in my life time on 1 May 2022.
Thank you very much for me to

Great time with family, love their in room shower: water pressure is very strong come with the massage shower as well.
The view is gorgeous, facing science museum.
Housekeeping is always polite, warm and nice.
Dinner at vida rica, but a bit disappointed...Chinese food are a bit overpriced. Breakfast quality is better, but very crowded. Server don’t really have sufficient time to ask for tea and coffee refill.

Its already August now, the last time my partner and i traveled was in January before Covid 19 gets serious and spread over to Macau. It has not been easy to NOT be able to travel and relax ourselves during these 6 months. Since Macau is pretty safe now with no new cases for a few months, my partner decided to surprise me with a staycation. Once we arrived in MO the staff (Benjamin Li) immediately assist to check in and Assistant Front Office Manager (Lucas Li) came over to greet us as well, during check in Ben explained to us what was included in the staycation package, (Free room upgrade, early check in at 12pm, late check out at 4pm, complimentary 60 mins spa treatment for 2 pax, F&B credit of 800 per room etc), we booked a Deluxe city view room, due to the free room upgrade in the package we should get upgrade to a lake view room and during check in we were told that they have double upgrade us to their waterfront SUITE!!! After check in, Ben escort us to our room and they have prepared decoration for us with welcome amenities such as cake, wine, fruits platter and etc. Ben quickly gave us a room tour and the facilities in the hotel. Oh and i forgot to mention that they gave us a MOP 300 voucher to use in One Central shopping mall :) after settling down in the room we have decided to go to the pool for lunch. The pool side area is quite small comparing to other hotels in Cotai area but it is very private, we ordered some food and chilled by the pool for the afternoon, then we head to the spa at 5pm for our 60 mins treatment. For one second if i did not look outside of the lake view i would have thought that i was in Thailand haha. The next day we had breakfast in the hotel which was of cause included in the package, to be honest the food was ok, not as good as i expected. we then headed to the pool again to catch some sun. During our stay we were called by our names which was very personalized. I believed that the staff were taught and trained to call guest by their name but before the pandemic staff usually will not be able to do so due to full occupancy with too many guest walking around the hotel area. Oh! and we had a little incident during our stay, i found a hair on the bathrobe so i called down to their guest service hotline to get them to replace it with a new one. Later that day when we were walking pass the hotel lobby and the Guest Service Manager Safilo came by and apologize for what happened, we do appreciate that hotel do take these little incident serious and prevent them to happening again. Anyways, we had a very nice stay in MO thank you so much for those who assisted us during the stay.

We checked into this hotel on NYE and pleasantly surprised when the reception, Holly, upgraded us to a room w the fireworks view. It's really nice to watch the fireworks in the comfort of our room and I have read online this hotel has the best fireworks view.

I've checked into 4 different 5 stars hotel this trip. Though the room is not da best, the service does make up for it. And most of the staff speaks good English. Also to add on, Holly went the extra mile to make sure that I got a taxi when I check out cos its busy period.

Now the downside. The hotel may consider having shuttle buses to the main areas cos its tucked right at a corner. And it can be a nightmare trying to get a taxi in Macau during the busy hours. We also had to hop onto the MGM shuttles to get to the hotel from the ferry terminal.

This is my first visit to the hotel brand of Mandarin Oriental. In Macao, a city full of hotels, I think Mandarin Oriental has made a difference. The overall decoration style and the hospitality of the service staff reflect the value of the hotel - to convey the beauty of the East and feel the feeling of the East. This time I stayed with my friends. When we arrived at the front desk, derrick and smiko received us warmly. Check in not only upgrades the room type, but also meets the needs of room service, which is beyond the original experience. When checking out the next day, Katrina song provided warm service and offered to help check in the luggage. Make the journey perfect. If i still have the chance, i will not only choose to stay in the hotel, but also highly recommend relatives and friends to stay in the hotel as the first choice to visit Macao

My experience at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel was amazing. The breakfast was simple but really good, specially the homemade dumpling and dim sums, and the food at the Mandarin Café was equally as good and the moon cakes we purchased were divine. As for the bar, the mocktails and cocktails are exquisite and with the combination of the background music and the view it makes the perfect place to watch the sunset with your beloved ones.
The swimming pool is small but you can relax in the jacuzzi with complementary fruit and ice water, the hotel provides suns block, tanning oil and facial spray so that you don’t have to worry about bringing your own.
Mr. Raymond Yeung helped us on settling in one of their best suites with the best view, the view to the Nam Van Lake. One of the thing that caught my attention was the fact that room had its own binoculars so that you can sight see from your hotel room. The room service is excellent, housekeeping always prepared everything as we liked and the in-room dinning never failed to deliver the perfect service.
It’s the perfect hotel for a vacation with your family.

Macau Oriental Hotel, is an excellent hotel that offers a unique experience with each guests stay. It’s a hotel that resembles a chique and modern style accompanied by excellent customer service in all departments. The hotel itself is spotless, and offers hygienic and spacious rooms to all the guests. The food served both at the bar and restaurant is a mixed culinary gastronomy of typical Chinese food as well as western food.
The hotel offers five star treatment to all its guests that benefit from the pool with a view of the city, as well as its SPA and gym area, it is also connected to a grand extravagant mall that offers all the top brands of around the world, with a selection of top cuisine restaurants scattered around the mall.
I truly believe Mandarim Oriental is a hotel that offers nothing but and extraordinary and memorable stay to any of its guests, and therefore I want to thank all of the hotels staff and more specifically Mr. Raymond Yeung by being extraordinary at accommodating me and my family in all of our stays!

Mandarin Oriental, Macau provide excellent customer service, Derick & Lucas are very professional with warm hospitality. We were here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I took a few family photos inside the beautiful room. Before this trip, I informed the hotel in advance that I would bring a child over 1 year old. The hotel has prepared baby cots and bath supplies, which is very considerate. The room is very clean, and the view to Nanwan Lake is the best in Macau, and the angle of the drone show at night is unobstructed and very clear. Lastly, I appreciate the hotel's sustainability measures, such as reusable glass water bottles, refillable shower and shampoo, non-plastic toiletries, etc. good stay!!!

I not sure, we came from Hong Kong airport, ferry to Macau and Mandarin Oriental Macau arranged a transport to pick us from Macau ferry terminal. But I think there might be several other Hotels providing free shuttle services to their Hotels and as long as you spot a MGM Macau (not MGM Cotai) shuttle bus, just hop in and it will brings you to Mandarin Oriental Macau is which is just next door.
