My partner and I stayed here for the first time June/July. Impressed with our room and the housekeeping service. Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. Very high standard throughout and would happily stay again.
I agree with everyone else who rated this hotel as excellent. Cleanliness, friendly welcome and excellent service are the watchwords of this hotel. This was our second visit to the Mayflower and we were not disappointed. The rooms are very large by Greek standards and...More

Lots of bars and restaurants in Tigaki, which is about a ten minute walk from The Mayflower. Massive beach right at the bottom of the Main Street with watersports. If you want to venture further afield, you could hire a car and tour the island - Paradise Beach is a must, but there are lots of quieter beaches too. Kos town is a great place to visit, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants, and some archaeological stuff if you are into that kind of thing. Also a harbour where you can buy boat trips of differing kinds, and a pretty walk around the harbour area too.
Go Karting is available in Marmaris, and there are 2 water parks on the island. In Tigaki there are a few places to book trips or hire cars from - would advise to do it yourself rather than booking through Thomson's, and there is also a really good public bus service.
The Mayflower itself has a big pool, lovely eating area and bar, with pool tables, football table and table tennis table, and you can get free WiFi all around the public areas. The food there is really good and all cooked fresh. They have a BBQ/Greek night once a week, which is a really good laugh, and so much food!
My boys will be 15 and 10 when we go back next year (30 July for 3 weeks) so we might see you there! This will be our 4th year in a row and they are still not bored with it, so hope that answers your questions!

Hi there cooking facilities are adequate. Two cooking rings, pots n pans, cutlery etc. Microwave and toaster. Full size under counter fridge with freezer comp. we only used the microwave and toaster. So cheap to eat out we only had breakfast in the apt. Had breakfast a couple of times at the snack bar which is excellent. Bakery only a few hundred yards away does filled small baguettes cakes n tarts croissants doughnuts etc. All lovely. Plenty of fresh fruit available from fruit stall near bakery and supermarkets. Fabulous complex. Small friendly and peaceful. You will love it. Happy holidays.
