This place has everything you could wish for. The pools are amazing and staff the same. Only one slight complaint that being a family hotel mealtimes tend to be a bit noisy. We were given complimentary fizz and chocs as it was a holiday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary by the hotel which was a very nice gesture.

Hotel's Favourite
Despite 2020 being such a strange year our holiday was so enjoyable and allowed us to forget all the drama back home. The staff were absolutely unreal and so friendly. We was always welcomed with a smile (although hidden behind the mask) and they would always remember small details about what we drunk or what our daughter liked, although they were fully booked and to full capacity. The food was lovely and they always had so many options. The hotel was so clean and we literally couldn’t fault anything. We would definitely revisit.

We had a lovely 9 days here, the first room we were given wasn’t to our liking, we stayed in this one the first night and were able to change the next day, which was swiftly sorted by Lefteris and we were very well looked after from this day onwards. The room we changed to was a swim up sharing room, very nicely decorated and modern, very clean and made up on a daily basis, by a lovely lady called Mariana ( apologies if that’s not the correct spelling). The guy who stocked the mini bar would knock and see if you needed anything, the mini bar is quite sparse, few soft drinks, two beers and two waters, a bottle of wine on arrival, but you could take drinks take away from the bars at the end of the night. The buffet is standard European all inclusive, not the same as when you go to the Caribbean but it was ok, although much of the food was never very hot, my only criticism as a Coeliac was that the labelling needed to be clearer, the labels were often quite muddled and then things like plain rice were listed as having gluten in, so I was always a bit dubious. I really think the staff need a better understanding of GF, there was a pasta one day that was marked as having no gluten but when I checked it wasn’t GF. You also have to take into account that whilst Covid is here it’s a different experience. Gluten free bread was available, the lady who greeted you was always so friendly and cheerful and Gerry one of the waitresses was always so lovely. We ate in the Taverna a few nights and Fiodor the captain made our nights really lovely and relaxing, totally clued up on GF. We had a lovely meal in the a la carte one night and again George and Dimitri both made our experience lovely. Most nights we finished the night in Dawn bar and Lia the waitress again was really lovely. I’ve just mentioned a few of the staff who made our trip great but all the staff were friendly and super helpful. The grounds of the resort are immaculately kept and very clean, pool towels are available and I did see loungers being regularly cleaned, you can order drinks to your sun-bed and the hotel is right on the beach. There is nothing around the hotel, so if you want to explore maybe hire a car, we just got a taxi into Kos town a couple of times, €12 or the bus stop is at the entrance to the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have designated smoking areas so we we quite frequently changed sun-beds or seats in the bar, main outside and the Dawn bar because people would come lay or sit and start smoking. I think the hotel should have designated smoking areas within the resort so those who don’t smoke don’t have to sit in the clouds of smoke of those who do. I also found that although there was a brick separation between rooms, when I did yoga outside our room in the morning the smoke from the neighbours would drift over. . I did consider dropping a point as the buffet wasn’t great but we ate more often in the taverna and this made up for it. Ending on a positive note, this is a great resort with super friendly staff and a short commute from the airport.

Many reviews before this one have said most of it before, but to write an up to date review will always help those who will be travelling to this lovely hotel in the next few months or year. The private taxi transfer from the airport was about 20 minutes. Kos Taxi Drivers are so polite and courteous. They get paid very little by the hour, so tip what you can afford. Checking by the reception staff was quick, informative and easy. Cases loaded onto a golf buggy, and we were in our room down by the beach pool in ten minutes. Cases down, too late to unpack properly if we wanted to catch a few drinks at the hotel main bar. We met two friends who flew the same flight as us from Gatwick in the UK at the bar, and two more on the Flight from Manchester were an hour behind us. The staff at this bar were again superb as was our favourite Kostas. Everything here was table service, but you could order at the bar, but its not the norm. They hold entertainment her most nights, which included Greek Dancing night, Male solo singer etc. Bingo is also held daily. (Not my cup of tea) Our Seaview room was big and spacious. I like the bath having a good shower screen so the floor did not get wet or flooded as they tend to. Toiletries are supplied and of good quality and replenished daily. The room maid again polite and courteous did a lovely job everyday, and was suitably rewarded. We had booked a late departure as our flight was late evening. So on the check out day we were moved to a smaller room up near the main hotel. It was as good as our main room with all the required items. Dinner is the main restaurant was a buffet style. Masks on when not at your table when moving around the restaurant to collect food from the buffet area. When entering this area you are required to put on gloves which are supplied at the entrance. The food at this hotel was very good and tasty. The selection was vast. Always fresh and hot. Again a shout out to Christos & Stella, We were well looked after every time we attended in the evening and organised at table for 6 at short notice. We had one evening meal down at the Argo restaurant on our last night. This restaurant is table service and the staff again were very attentive and charming. We did not use the Al'Cart restaurant during our trip. This venue double up as another place to eat during the lunch period, and is good to use if you are at the pool or beach for the day. Again the food here is always hot and tasty
