I stayed here after a one night stay in Platja d'en Bossa, and preferred this location. Great walking distance to all public transportation (def take a trip to the Hippy Village during their market days!), and city sites. Owners were super friendly and helpful, my room was basic but completely spotless, and the breakfast was a nice add on. Very affordable stay as well, which is great since Ibiza even on off season can be expensive. The staff held my bags for me before my ferry left, which was appreciated. For me as a solo traveler, a safe, affordable and clean location is paramount, and the owners being kind was a bonus.

My wife and I are no fan of and never book rooms at hostals but this hostal doesn't even look or feel like a hostal, it's more like a small cozy hotel! We loved our stay! The bathroom looked newly renovated, extremely clean and the shower was better than most I've used in Europe! The rest of the room and the patio were also clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful! My only complaint is that our room didn't have a safe and even though the room wasn't large (which is fine, we expected that), there was enough space in the room to fit even a small safe somewhere and it would have been appreciated, perhaps something they can consider for the future. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay! :)

This place has it all! Run by people who love what they do, and make you feel at home. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, big smiles and a yes to everything you ask for. Simple, but very nice and clean rooms. Breakfast with fresh fruit and juices, iberico-ham etc.. served outdoor. Central Ibiza, just a few minutes walk to the old town and harbour. Cool seventy-wibe with a nice price! The warmest staff ever!!

First we arrived in the room, service was good, but in the bath tub was hair! When we went to check out the bed there was stains on the sheets, so we immediately threw them off before lying down. When we left and returned, we had noticed the maid had done the bed, and till used the same sheets!! Disgusting! Also, when we got back to sleep we noticed the room was extremely damp and humid..even with the air conditioning on..So with no sheets we attempted to sleep. When in bed I noticed myself becoming extremely itchy and getting bitten. When I turned on the lights there was BED BUGS. ..and if you dont believe me check the pics@!! DO NOT STAY HERE

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Ibiza Town (Eivissa). The hostal was clean, staff friendly and in a good location for exploring the island by local buses.

The room was fairly small, as is often the case in city hotels. The shower curtain was not long enough and it was almost impossible not to flood the bathroom. The bathroom was small but there was always hot water and the shower worked well. The room was reasonably quiet. Breakfast was good.

We enjoyed our stay until the last day when we vacated our room and put our bags into a luggage store. On returning with about half an hour before catching the bus to the airport we found my hand luggage bag had was missing. It was found in the adjacent shower/ loo, which is provided for guests who like us were leaving later in the day. Unfortunately a valuable pair of binoculars had been stolen and a small amount of cash. The shower had been occupied when we arrived, presumably by the thief, as some one had left in such a hurry that they left their shoes behind. The receptionist said it was a guest of the hotel. We were very short of time so could not report the matter to the police. We asked the receptionist to report the theft and had to leave for the airport. I have never heard from the hotel again, even though I telephoned from the airport and emailed from home.

My girlfriends and I stayed at this hotel for 2 1/2 days. We just wanted to stop by Ibiza and explore during our Spain vacation. We are used to staying at 4 star hotels but given the fact that we were not going to stay long, we chose a hostal. We were kind of skeptical at first, the place was small and looked like someone's house or college dorm type of thing but you cant blame us, we come from New York City and we like to travel somewhat in style. At our arrival Juan, the receptionist, helped us with our three 50 lbs suitcases, as there is no elevator. He sent for our room to get ready before check in time. He gave us THE BEST advice about touring the area, where to go and what to avoid. He was right about everything, from where to get the best mojitos to where to go for the best beach. He helped us so very much and was extremely professional. The first morning we did not find Juan but we found his wonderful brother Jose. He was just as helpful and attentive. These guys know how to treat people and have real customer service. The place is small, don't expect much but it is very clean, air conditioning work excellent, and the breakfast was just as good as the 4 star hotels we stayed in Madrid and Barcelona. If you're going to Ibiza to have a good time and on a budget, then this is the right place. They will give you anything you need from hair dryer to iron. We were in many places in Spain, and by far, this is the one I will never forget. I will never forget the service the brother gave us. Amazing!!

Now, since I keep going back to this hotel every time I go to Ibiza (and boys, do I have an addiction to the island!), my fear is that by writing a very good review - which they totally deserve - I am never again going to be able to find an available room.

Oh well, too bad for me. But the people that work there and that operate the structure do deserve to be commended for their work.

Don't be fooled by the 'Hostal' name or the lone star. This is a small hotel in the heart of Ibiza Town, next to the Dalt Villa, minutes away from the port, the bars, the bastions of the old town, the restaurants, the beach on Figueretes. If you like the vibe of Ibiza's main town, and I love it, this place is right in the middle of all of it.

I doubt that you will be able to find something as cheap and as good. Even if not very large, the rooms are comfortable. They will inevitably feature a double bed that is quite soft, a desk with chair, a wardrobe and a toilet/bathroom. Some of the ones facing the front of the building have a small terrace that is great if you smoke. And you will smoke in Ibiza!

The breakfast is continental: ham, cheese, pastries, bread, jams, coffee and teas. You can take it on a small terrace in the back. Some people that are in Ibiza for apparently all the wrong reasons insist on eating.

There's a great gym just up the road the offers daily and weekly passes. Don't seem to be able to find it on google maps but it is literally a couple of block up the road away from the centre. You can catch buses to the airport or being dropped by one from it in the streets nearby. Also next street over are buses to Playa D'en Bossa (15 mins bus ride) and to Ses Salinas/Es Cavallet (20 minutes).

Spent 5 nights here in April and the weather was perfect. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are really clean and perfect for a flying visit to Ibiza. The breakfast choice was really good and I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at breakfast time! The walls are paper thin though so take earplugs.
