    Small Piece of Paradise
    I have travelled quite extensively and stayed in many nice properties, but I must say this must have been one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere and the layout of the property makes you truly disconnect from everyday life and relax in absolutely beautiful surroundings. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, with a spacious walk-in shower. The bed itself was also very comfortable. There is a nice pool, which is unheated, but very refreshing in the algarve weather. The food both at breakfast and dinner was delicious, prepared with fresh local ingredients. The dinner, albeit slightly pricier than local restaurants was a very nice experience with a set menu. The owners were absolutely lovely and always available to answer any questions or make sure we did not need anything. Also, due to the fact that I had to leave early for medical reasons, they have been really accommodating. I am looking forward to go back for a longer stay next time.…

    I almost didn’t want to write a review to keep this gem a secret!
    Flawless! We were greeted as in a 5 star hotel with an orange juice. We have been given a beautifully romantic bedroom with a small living room area and a large bathroom with a super rain shower. The decor of the room is simple but very stylish. The same vibe of decor can be found in the common areas! The family who own and run the place are the sweetest people. We felt like friends of the family not hotel guests. It was lovely to feel that! The nearby Fabrica beach and Cacela Velha village are a must see! We will certainly find another time to come back to Conversas de Alpendre! It is difficult nowadays to find a place that has such an amazing value for money! We had great breakfasts, light lunches a few times and dined twice in our 4 day stay. All meals was impeccably delicious with local produce and fruit from their orchard. We found each night a little munchie at turn down service, on our bed, chocolate covered orange or cookies. A nice little extra touch you would find in a 5 star hotel. I also had a wonderful massage in a quaint sheltered tented area in the garden. The garden has a magnificent grove of old olive trees. The pool was warm and a nice array of sun beds around it and around the hotel grounds which was nice when I wanted to chill with a book after lunch. I highly recommend this hotel.     Heaven!
    If you could conjure up an image in your head of what heaven may be like it would probably resemble Conversas De Alpendre. We stayed for 10 days in May as we had a family wedding to attend nearby but apart from that it was really difficult to drag ourselves away. This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in and the service and food really were second to none Breakfast was amazing and served at the table. Dinners served five times a week were superb and tailored to your preferences. We ate there as many times as we were able although when we did have to venture out there are several good choices nearby. We had an extremely relaxing time after a difficult year and returned home rejuvenated. Many thanks to Marta, Tiago and their excellent team who cannot do enough for you, we hope to return again soon!…

    Paradise!
    Great small resort with a nice garden, superb pool with great lounging facilities and laid back atmosphere. Really outstanding breakfast and good food! Some of the rooms are located at the pool, which lack a bit of privacy. However it is not a busy place and the atmosphere is really relaxed so it is not a real problem. We had the room 'no stress' which has a own terrace with privacy and a hot tub.…

    Perfect location for relaxing short break
    This was a return for us to this part of the Algarve after 19 years. The location and the ambience of this wonderful hotel are second to none. Peaceful setting to unwind. Breakfasts set you up for the day. Inventive snacks and small plates at lunchtime and dinner (DinnerTue to Sat only) consists of what is fresh and best one the day at market. The hotel will recommend good local restarants and make reservations and arrange taxis if needed. Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in one of the suites with an outside Hot Tub which was well used. Will definitely return.…
