We just got back from a 4 night stay at Orpheus Island. Everything was perfect, starting from the helicopter ride from Cairns (we saw whales breaching!). The staff were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, they even had a special menu for our children with all the food they requested. There is so much to do in and...

Dear Carolina D, On behalf of our island team thank you for choosing Orpheus as your holiday destination last month. There is nothing more spectacular than seeing whales breaching as you are flying overhead by scenic helicopter transfer. There are so many of them migrating past the island at the moment! We are very happy to hear you thoroughly enjoyed...

An amazing place to visit for a relaxing break from reality. The staff were always friendly and helpful, whilst still being discrete. The food was amazing and also personalized where necessary. The accommodation was first class. There were many activities available (just by asking the amazing staff), or you could just lie by tghe pool enjoying the amazing location.

Had a wonderful week at the resort. Food was fantastic. Undertook the diving course then went to the reef for a dive, which was unbelievable. Snorkeling and fishing were also excellent. On watch out is its difficult to exercise as no gym and walking tracks are short and rough.

My husband and I visited Orpheus island last month, which overall was good but had a few things that could be looked at. Don't go and wait at the lounge where you will leave in the helicopter, as there is nothing really there you are better off having lunch in town. The lounge area could certainly be improved with beverages...

Orpheus Island Resort was a lovely stay for my husband and I. Renau, the manager and his staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. The chef created special dishes for us based on our needs and preferences (I'm gluten-free). We had a fabulous time snorkeling, exploring the mangroves, beach, learning to scuba dive, and lounging in a...

Look at your bucket list and if Orpheus Island is not on it, it should be! The staff are incredible, nothing was too much trouble - little touches like hot chocolate waiting as you get off the dive boat. The food is superb! They cater to your every like and dislike. Simply brilliant from the departure in Townsville to our return it was like we had stepped on the planet for the weekend and escape to paradise. Nothing was too much trouble and even if it was it didn't show on the faces of the staff. This is the complete package, food, wine, service, staff and the surrounding area.
