It was so mush fun to walk across a bridge, down the path, past a horse and her colt and a few chickens and discover the colorful and artistic Casa de Piedra. The pool is central to the patio but then the attention goes to the variety of tropical plants and flowers. It is obvious the garden gets tender care because...

This small B&B in a typical fishing village south of Puerto Vallarta is a real find! Each apartment is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The town is charming with a small beach and several restaurants. And every 15 minutes or so a bus comes by that will take you to bustling Puerto Vallarta in 40 minutes for 7.5 pesos. (about...

We loved our stay at Case de Piedra! The gardens are amazing and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Our kids loved swimming in the pool playing ping pong on the patio. The owners were lovely and very helpful. They recommended the nearby (bus ride) to the Botanic Gardens which was a beautiful diversion during our beach vacation. We can't wait...

You can park your car in a large parking lot and walk across an adorable bridge to meet with these spectacular owners! If Boca de Tomatlan wasn't on your list- make it so! The sweet owners, Bob & Sue, gave us great recommendations for...

This was my fourth time to Casa de Piedra and the lovely town of Boca de tomatlan. It is such a little oasis, swimming in the ocean looking at the jungle green that surrounds the town. Coconut shrimp on the beach, taking a little boat trip down the coast. Heading into Vallarta for some live entertainment on the local bus....

Perched on the side of the river , steps to the ocean located in a small fishing village, yet a bus ride to Puerto Vallarta, this villa was all I could want for a perfect vacation destination. The owners, Sue and Bob were so gracious, generous ,helpful...

The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are well stocked and attractive. It is situated on the river and the beach is less than a five minute walk. The breakfasts are delicious and the courtyard is clean and scenic. Bob and Sue were friendly hosts and Bob's dry sense of humour was much appreciated.

It is an unexpected treat to find a captivating, authentic, Mexican fishing village, a mere ten miles outside of Puerto Vallarta. Boca de Tomatlan has both charm and convenient proximity to many of Vallarta's best attractions, and as such is an excellent base while visiting the area. Casa de Piedra is an oasis of architectural and botanical beauty, located along...
