Quite simply a once in a lifetime experience. An hour and a half by 4 wheel drive from our base in Mendoza, the transfer turned out to be an adventure in itself with roads washed away by recent rains and a flat tyre. But what a place Ranchi E Cuero is; isolated, beautiful and surrounded by the foothills of the...

The estancia is reached via a stunning drive with extraordinary views down over the Mendoza campos, and the isolation of the simple but beautiful bungalows and rooms lend themselves to what could have been an awesome experience. We were collected by the parents of the family - check what they will charge you for transfer as having paid our deposit...

This was the highlight of our trip to Argentina. Beautifully located in the Andes foothills at 2,400m., it is truly a unique experience. With superb hospitality, and generous and delicious catering we were made to feel like part of the family. Horse riding trips out were spectacular but comfortable and very safe. We fished successfully for brook trout, and within...

The only disappointment was that we didn't plan to spend more time at this lovely ranch! The owners/hosts were very welcoming, treating us like family! The ranch houses were immaculate, cozy, and the food was delicious!

It was a real treat to spend two days at Rancho E Cuerro. It is hard to put into words but it is like spending two days with great friends at the end of the world in a beautiful and very special place. The Palmas, the parents, Analicia and Ricardo and their son, Juan Ricardo, opened their house to us,...

We spent three amazing nights over New Year this season at Rancho e Cuero with the wonderful members of the Palma family. We cannot put into adequate words the peace, fun, and hospitality we experienced at the estancia, a highlight at the end of an exciting trip to Patagonia. The family and gaucho guided horseback riding was outstanding with beautiful,...

What a special place we found in the Andes mountains! Everything about this visit was 10/10! The scenery, the activities, the food and wine and mostly the people. From our gaucho Pedro to the ladies in the kitchen to the owners, Ricardo and Analicia and their daughters Analicia and Clara. This place has become a special place for us and...

We were in Mendoza for 3 days but after day 1 felt it was best to do something fun and this was recommended by the Park Hyatt. I have never been riding before so was a little nervous but the horses are so well trained it is not an issue. It is just beautiful, situated at the foothills of the...

My wife and I, along with a couple friends of ours stayed at Rancho E Cuero in March 2014. It was an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were superb, the service outstanding, the meals excellent. The horseback riding was very good, even for three of us who had not ridden in a long time. Juan was extremely patient and the horses...

“There are two buildings that can sleep up to 12 people in total. Each room has a powered shower and the fires, hot water bottles and gas burners keep the cold at bay in the most part. Emergency solar powered lights keep the adventure alive at night when the power generators are switched off but hot water is gas generated so you shouldn't have to suffer a cold shower unless everyone is having one at the same time (the water comes from the glacial stream that sits alongside the property!)”
