We booked a full day for horse riding only. + The car ride there was good. The scenery spectacular. The food good. The staff really nice! - It's very little horse riding for the money, the day mostly consisted in waiting and more waiting. - This is not horse riding, it's sitting passively on a horse while it takes you...

I can not say enough about our wonderful experience at El Puesto. Our group of four all agreed that our time at El Puesto was the highlight of our three month trip across South America. Even during the cool month of September, the weather was perfect for horseback riding and hiking during the day and the chilly nights were no...

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights, arriving on 14 April. We were met at Mendoza airport by Poppi (the owner's son) who drove us out to the Estancia. You very definitely need a sturdy 4X4 for the final few km of rough dirt road. We arrived on a chilly afternoon. The single storey corrugated iron roofed building is...

After reading some reviews of the estancia we werent quite sure what to expect from the visit. Now, after the visit, I have to stay that it was the best decision of our holiday to go to El Puesto. Raul, his family and the staff took care of us the whole visit. Great food, magnificant Andes, horse-riding, quiet nights... love...

Raul picked us up right on time and we had an enjoyable drive into the Andes foothills, the road was great other than the last few miles, which lead to us to the end of the trail and his charming Estancia. We settled into our room which by North American standards was VERY RUSTIC, but did have all that you...

We signed up for the horse riding day visit only, choosing not to stay overnight. We were glad for that, as the house is very rustic with only solar power and very basic plumbing. But it is clean and well tended. The owners and his staff make the experience worthwhile. The lunch was beautifully prepared and presented, very colorful. The...

We were picked up from our lovely B&B (Casa Lila) in Mendoza by Poppi, the owners son for the 1 and a half hour-and at part very bumpy!- journey to the very remote estancia at the foot of the Andes. The weather wasn't had closed in, and with no heating and a reliance on solar power, the amenities were basic....

Stayed here in October 2015 with friends - had the place to ourselves! Despite poor weather we had great welcome at the estancia - it's very picturesque location and isolation means no wifi and basic access to hot water and heating - but that was all part of the experience. Amazing fresh food served by talented cook and great riding...

We visited Estancia El Puesto for a day trip (we did not stay there overnight) and had an amazing time. My wife and I (we were on our honeymoon) were the only two visitors, so it almost felt like we were visiting family. We went on a pleasant horse ride in the foothills with breathtaking views of the Andes, had...

This is a great place to go to for a nice change of pace. The estancia El Puesto is owned and managed by Raul Labat. He was the host when I was there in late April 2015. I stayed at El Puesto because my spouse and daughters had such a good time here in March 2010. I was not disappointed....

“We stayed in the garden rooms which are just as nice as in the main house and actually i think give you a little more privacy being slightly set away from the rest. But both main house and garden rooms are fabulous”
