Three mates traveling, wanted to treat ourselves after many hostel stays and this was perfect. We had rented a car to do the surrounding areas so the distance wasn’t a problem. We walked into town once and it was a nice walk! Christian was super helpful and friendly, they cleaned the rooms and made the beds everyday. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Beds super comfy and shower was hot. So quiet, and peaceful. Loved it thank you guys!

What I liked: The staff was very friendly, there was only one guy and he took care of everything, even the breakfast. We were given a much bigger room/apartment than we originally booked which was great! Lots of space, spacious bathroom, big living room and kitchen. Everything quite new and very clean. Parking in front of your rooms. Breakfast is served in your own kitchen and you book it the evening before. What I didn't like: The place is a bit outside of the center of Pumamarca which means at night if you wanna have a bite (the hotel has nothing) you have to get either your car or walk a very very dark road. Although you are in the middle of colored mountains you can't really see them as windows are very tiny. I think it's overprized. Yes it's a nice place, everything is ok, but I think for what it is, it's just too much money.

They were super friendly, the houses were big and the location was beautiful and serene!! We cold even park our car just next to our cabin. There was no noise or anything. The workers helped with whatever we needed, our breakfast was brought to our house after we filled in a checklist of what we wanted before. But the breakfast itself was not very interesting, the bread was dry, the juice was not fresh so we had to get breakfast somewhere else, The views were amazing there.

Mirador del Virrey is a small establishment approximately approximately 2km from the town centre. The rooms are comfortable with a king size bed which (like a number of Argentinian establishments) consists of 2 single beds pushed together. The room has a bathroom with large shower, toilet, sink and bidet. It has a small kitchenette but no oven or hob, though it has a microwave. The main room has a daybed and a tv with a small dining table. As mentioned, comfortable but pretty basic and the accomodation is really more like a motel than a hotel with few additional amenities. I would have no problem with place except that I found it very expensive for what it offers. We paid only $60 more per night to stay in absolute luxury in Cafayate so this was a bit of a let down. That said I am not sure how many other options are available in this small town.

Although the staff as very friendly the hotel was not worth the money. When we checked in - a bit early - we were told to come back at the check-in time although the hotel was not fully booked and we were sure the room would have been ready. The room was clean but for some reason we did not feel at home at all. The price was way too much. We could tell that the hotel banked on the location in Purmamarca as it is quite touristy. The breakfast was served in the room and was one of the poorest I have had in a very long time. Coffee came in a tea bag!!! There was no WiFi in the room (which would have been quite alright), but in the open lounge area (where the lounge chairs were dirty from the dogs sitting on them) we could not connect with our international cell phones!!!

Although it's about 3 kilometers from the village of Purmamarca it's worth the ride. Large rooms, great bathroom. Everything is brand new. But the best of all is it's manager Diego. Always ready to help you with whatever you need. Travel tips, restaurants, a problem with your rented car or whatever.

The rooms are very large and clean , the breakfast is inside each room ( you choose previously what you want) . You have free tea anytime , the shower and staff are great, the bed is very comfortable and at night the silence is just perfect to sleep. The only two things I could complain were the heating inside the room that wasn't enough for the size of it ( with the high ceiling and we got 5 Celsius at night) , and the tv that is not in front of the bed .

Everything is nice here. Big room, nice bathroom with a wonderful shower, enough power sockets, fridge and microwave and BBQ available. Outside table and nicely screened windows and free parking. Breakfast is wonderful and enough for twice the amount of people! Friendly staff that is really helpful. If in Purmamarca, definitely the place to go. Two things to mention: Free wifi is weak as no replicator in the room and place is suitable only if you have a car as it is outside of the village (too far to walk).

Nice spacious rooms - ours had a bed room and a living/kitchen room which had a sink, microwave and fridge. If you wanted you could have made some food. Nice touch is that breakfast is served in your room- nice breakfast too. Location is good, just outside the village but down a dirt track. Very honest staff- we overpaid by $5 and the receptionist ran out of the hotel and flagged down our car to give it back. We decided to leave it for the cleaner.

The first thing I want to do is say a huge thank you to the manager (owner), a lovely, friendly young man called Diego who was unfailingly polite and helpful during my 3 days at these pleasant enough cabanas. The location is a km or so out of the town itself, however this should not be a problem for anyone visiting Purmamarca because you surely need your own transport to get there. The rooms are as shown on the website and are comfortable enough, I managed to sleep well with no noise disturbing my rest. Breakfast was brought to your door each morning and comprised of the usual Argentinian fare of salt pastries, toast, croissants with the ubiquitous packs of dulce de leche and spreadable cheese; hot water in a small flask was provided to the tea and coffee bags, along with chocolate milk and orange squash. Not the greatest breakfast in the world but as I said, typical of many such breakfasts I had in the country. If I had a gripe it would be the lack of cooking facilities, there was only a microwave, and I would have preferred a small hob, and perhaps a kettle-though as I said hot water was provided in thermos flasks on request. The one other thing that i missed, and this is something that even in a 5 star establishment I stayed in was a plug for the sink, I should have asked for one as it made shaving slightly difficult, however obviously as I didn't go to the trouble of requesting one it couldn't have been that much of a disaster! Oh, and the wifi was a little hit and miss at times but then again it was free and I managed to get enough of a signal to call my daughter in the UK. So in summing up I would say this; I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would be happy to do so again, especially as the warm smile and friendly greeting from Diego from the moment I arrived until the time I left was something that really made me feel comfortable and at ease.
