Domaine du Cloucau is a gem of a place if you're wanting to get away from it all in rural France. We were in Gramat for a wedding and could not have chosen a better place to stay. There are more luxurious chateaux and hotels in the area, but I cannot imagine anywhere more peaceful or more beautiful than this.... More

We had the good fortune to stay at this B&B for three nights while touring the surrounding area. Our booking was done by Emilie of France Just for You, a French travel service, and we were delighted with the choice. Francine and Alain are gracious hosts, anxious to please their guests. As others have stated, the rooms are spacious and... More

I stayed in Domaine du Cloucau with friends, when we recently attended a wedding in Montvalent. The property is charming and beautifully maintained. It's exceptionally quiet and peaceful - I regretted not bringing a yoga mat to practice on the lawns! We (a group of 4) had a semi contained cottage towards the rear of the property which provided a... More

Domaine du Cloucau was a great experience. Our room was spacious with a large bed, sofa, separate bedroom that we used as a dressing room, and a very clean bathroom. The owners were gracious and friendly - and I even got some lessons in French that were very helpful. Great petit dejeuner and the owner's homemade fig preserves were "the... More

Domaine du Cloucau was a wonderful experience with very attentive hosts for my family which includes 3 children aged between 7 and 12. Our family accommodation was perfect with 2 bedrooms with 2 of the children sharing a double bed. The decor was very homely but we felt the need to put away some decorations for space and to make... We have just come back from there, it's probably one of the best places we have ever stayed, it's run by a charming couple, called Francine and Alain, who offer an absolutely fabulous welcome and create an unbeatable atmosphere for all the guests, Francine, sometimes serves a table d'hotes which is out of this world, a four course meal with... We spent 4 nights here in September, 2012 while touring the region. The hosts, Francine and Alain, are charming with a real interest in making our stay as enjoyable as possible. This included suggestions for daily itineraries. While their command of English is basic, together with my French, we had no problem. Breakfasts were substantial and delicious with many homemade...
