Having just acquired the North Wales territory, in a working capacity, I am not familiar with the area. I made my reservation and crossed my fingers it would be OK. I was very pleased, on arrival the staff were very welcoming and informative. My room was lovely, spacious & modern. I had room service for dinner which was fantastic. Can't...

Booked at short notice to visit family in area. Only deluxe room available, large and comfortable but quite dark. Also unfortunately at the end of a corridor and next to a room with some kind of pump which was constantly on and off, coupled with being next to the delivery entrance with deliveries each morning about 6am, did not make...

Stayed at the Oriel Hotel for an army reunion at the end of September which we have been part of for a few years now. Previous years we have stayed at Bodelwyddan Castle. When we first arrived there was a wedding taking place on the Friday afternoon which was outside , so we were mingling in amongst wedding guests in...

Stayed in the Oriel for two nights with family, didn't get chance to use the Spa so can't really comment otherwise it was good. The hotel is in a calm and peaceful neighborhood and conveniently sign posted so don't find it difficult to get there. The public areas are nicely decorated and clean as well. However Wifi doesn't work, atleast...

No lifts so if you have large luggage it can be awkward to carry upstairs and around the narrow corridors also if you are disabled and need to use a...

However, the management need some training in Customer Relations. We had cause to complain because the Saturday evening meal wasn't up to standard. The repetitive line was that no one else had complained,...
