We were recently invited to a wedding at this hotel and overall this was a nice hotel. The wedding was at 3pm and check in isn't available until 3pm. The hotel offers an advanced check in For £15 which we used. ( you had to book in advance). The receptionist when we arrived wasn't very customer friendly and I over...

Rooms have all the usual facilities with a large queen size bed. Bathroom fine although the door hinges needed tightening. Water boiling hot and instant. WiFi was fine with a small bandwidth but will do all the necessary. Breakfast in the morning was nice and freshly cooked although partner who asked for a soft egg got a hard one. The...

Stayed for one night with work and the location was ideal for our meeting. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, was well decorated but still slightly dated, like the hairdryer in the bathroom. Had evening meal and breakfast and both was nice, the staff were helpful and efficient. The hotel felt slightly run down, cracks in the plaster...

Christmas night out and quite honestly the most boring ever. Food was ok......from sitting down and waiting for food took a while. Drinks at the bar are ridiculous.....£14 for a large vodka and coke and a glass of wine? One drink I had then left early and paid for a taxi home. Won't be back.

Been here before for a business event and it was great! We bought the spa deal on groupon recently. The staff were great very attentive but the amenities described as part of the deal weren't great. The gym was run down, running machines were sort of sticky. The pool looked quite run down and we were warned that there was...

This was my second stay at this hotel. At this time of year it was much busier but there was no noise to distract me. I was assigned room 108. At first I found that the toilet seat lid was broken and I could not connect to wifi. I reported both of these things to reception who were most helpful....

T'was the work Christmas party last night - lovely, funny company The actual food on a plate experience was lovely and would have been really enjoyable apart from ....,the dire versions of Noel and others from the list of Christmas Songs to Slit your Wrists to (thank goodness all the knifes were blunt) playing through a distorted PA, whilst we...

I read a few reviews on here before booking. I have to say I don't agree with some about the staff, every staff member I spoke to was very very helpful. I do, however agree with others about the condition of the hotel, could do with some attention. First room was ok, big room with spacious bathroom but I asked...

This review is quite a tricky one, as for all the staff here do a great job!!! I have graded it a 3 star, but some areas I would give it 4 stars and other areas 1 star!!! The wedding ceremony was wonderful. I couldn't recommend more for having your wedding here. The buffet the hotel put on in the...
