Reception is a bit tired but staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean if a little tired. Shower was hot which is always a plus. Evening meal was good enough and breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable.

My wife and I went on a family farewell visit to St Asaph in Denbighshire North Wales , which i am told is UK second smallest City . We stayed overnight at an enchanting Hotel called oriel country Hotel &Spa In St Asaph . The setting is very ideal for a country house hotel and spa nestling amongst mature trees...

Booked through Groupon. Greater at reception by lovely lady. Shown to the room. Huge king size bed. Very comfy. Radiator in bathroom was stuck on full blast and couldn't move it so bathroom was boiling which in the night made the room feel boiling. As it was too hot couldn't really sleep very well. But it was probably our own...

Booked this for a birthday treat on Groupon as spa with Welsh afternoon tea advertised. The spa bit was fine, although the waiting area is very strange and cold and isn't a very nice space to wait for a treatment. Even more so when you are sat there in your dressing gown and there are other people in there fully...

I have stayed here on business a few times now and have seen improvements on every visit. On my most recent visit I was pleasantly engaged at the reception desk and given further information about the hotel and facilities, this has never happened before. It was also the first time at reception, on checking out, that I have been asked...

What a fantastic venue to host a party!! From booking, to the party night, the staff at the hotel worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the night. Michelle and her team were amazing everyone had everything they needed throughout the evening, the 120 hot meals were all hot, well presented, plentiful and delicious! The breakfast was equally delicious...

I was expecting it to be more modern I think it needs updating and cleaning the toilet had stains on the top of it which I washed myself the bath looked dirty but I think it was brown paint as it wouldn't come off --- the spa was a swimming pool --not a spa --- I wouldn't come back here

We went with our freinds sunday till tuesday with a Groupon deal. It cost £89 for two people including breakfast, glass of wine and use of the small pool. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was amazing ( full welsh). Also you can help yourself to the continental as well. Our bed was so...

The customer service was excellent, and breakfast very good too. The room was nothing fancy but clean enough and the bathroom good (some more attention to detailed needed to dust behind the bed and around the bathroom fan). Comfy bed. I was put off the health club area as it was down a maze of dingy corridors. The gym looked...
