Beautiful food, locally sourced and plentiful, pleasant friendly atmosphere, lovely open fire on cold winter nights, it's our restaurant of choice for a Sunday carvery when friends and family visit! Large selection of beers and drinks available.

The double room was comfortable and a good size. Tea and Coffee was available in the room and this was kept stocked up. The room was cleaned each day to a good standard. The bathroom includes a spa bath and a shower. The Spa bath was enjoyable. The food in the hotel was a high standard, tasty and a reasonable...

Hello, Please could you inform me when you stayed here as you have said I was rude but I am unsure when this could have been as I haven't been around last week as I was away with my daughter or I have been in the kitchen cooking so haven't seen many customers. The only time last week I even...

And the computer should be saying no!!! This is a very rude review. Why should a bar member of my staff have to make you a sandwich? For all she new you could have been giving her a distraction to rob the place. She did the correct thing as if she had left the whole of the front of the...

I hadn't been to the Mortimers Cross In quite a while when we decided to meet with some friends there fir lunch. We booked a table over the phone, very easy! When we arrived we went into the bar where they took our names and we were able to purchase drinks, on or off the tab. After a couple of...

A group of us went for their Friday meat and wine deal and we were all really impressed by the food, the service and the value for money the deal was! (4 steaks and a bottle of wine for £45) I asked for some changes to my meal and they accommodated me with no problem at all. The presentation of...

We had a table booked for lunch today at 1.15 when we arrived the car park was already full so we assumed it was a popular place to eat. It's been many years since I was last in this pub, it is now tastefully decorated and the comfy sofas and fire are very welcoming. They serve a carvery Sunday lunch,...

Once in a long, long time my husband and I agreed our glass of wine was not nice or as expected for chardonnay. We commented on this and said it did not taste right. The land lady came out at once and changed our drink. That was fine. She said she had been selling it and no else had a...

you went straight to the young bar member to place your complete and spoke extremely out off order to her, therefore I stepped in! I knew you were claiming I had steal/old wine that is why I stated we have been selling the wine and turning over it enough it could not be steal/old. I was not impressed with the...

We stopped off here as a meeting point on our way to stay in Aymestry and was impressed with the overall atmosphere and service at this pub. The service was warm and welcoming and the surroundings cosy and open, we went for a mixture from the bar menu and in particular the chip butty went down a storm, it was...

Didn't eat here as was so busy. The back part of the bar is lovely. Comfy and modern décor. The other part with the darts and pool table in felt like a dodgy social club. Good selection of drinks available. Staff were attentive and friendly.
