Got a decent rate here. Not bad price considering how expensive Zurich is. Got the cheapest room which was a single. Was amazed to receive a loft room with huge roof terrace. Well located for tram to airport and train into town, although the hotel is in fact quite far out. Highly recommend if you don't mind being outside the...

Close to public transport; ideal for a relaxing stay before or after a long journey. Spa is offering various treatments. Sauna and water landscape. Rooms are nice and located in two buildings. Breakfast with good choice to start the day without compromises.

This hotel is clean and people are friendly enough. A great plus is their terrasse where you can have a drink or even lunch/dinner during nice season... However do not expect any tea/coffee in the room but for a hotel of that price range in Switzerland this would be a miracle. All in all no way you can find better...

I travel to Duebendorf for business, so the Sonnental is quite convenient and close by. I think the food, rooms and spa are great, though the prices are somewhat high. But that is not an issue of the Sonnental but from Switserland in general and the Zurich area particularly. Over the years I have been here more often, and plan...

Not noisy and big enough for a one night stay. Perfectly clean and well manteined. Did not had food at the restaurant but I saw the...

This is a friendly hotel with a good breakfast and good Wi-Fi and its location suited me as it was within walking distance of my work. I would stay again if it were non full for the dates I needed. The room was comfortable but had I been with my wife I would have had a problem with the frame...

I use this hotel regularly on business trips. I'd say it's mainly a business hotel, but it's my favourite in the area out of the hotels I've tried. Rooms are fine (business hotel standard), breakfast is great, staff are always friendly and helpful, and the spa/sauna area is fantastic. The restaurant is also good - food is good, and prices...

For more than 175 Chf per night, someone can expact al least some kind of ventilation in the roo,. Here, you don't have it. The rom I've got was on the ground floor, very small and without AC or fan. Even with the open window there was no chance of air circulating. The window opend to a parking lot. During...

Near the tram & station that come direct from airport. Room is ok however there is no airconditioning in the hotel. I arrived on a very warm day and was given a room on the 4th floor (seemed like an attic room as it had no ventilation at all) I could hardly get any air in from outside. Struggled to...

Many thanks for your feedback! You are right in summertime our rooms on the 4th floor are very warm. We know about this problem and we will try to find a solution at least for the next summer! Best wishes from Sonnental

Room was ok, but on the first floor was noisy fountain outside near to the window. Choice on breakfast was very poor. Only tomato from vegetables, no sweet muffins or biscuits etc. Only 5-10 minutes from train and tram station.
