I recently visited Ashford castle with my friend for afternoon tea, this hotel is absolutely stunning, it's in the most beautiful location, we were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped out of the car. We were escorted to our seat by the window where we sat looking out onto lough Corrib and the fabulous gardens, we had the... More

We stayed for 2 nights last week to celebrate a Birthday, 2 Nights was just not long enough to enjoy the Castle, the grounds, the Activities, the Spa or the surrounding area. The hotel is just Amazing, from pulling up at the gates to the valet parking and the welcome drink, you couldn't fault anything. You were treated like Royalty... More

The only issue I have ever had with this hotel, is that I have to leave it! It is a truly stunning attraction and I have very fond memories, both in the new and the old, Ashford Castle. From your own personal retro-cinema, to the worlds best spa and pool, to the George V dining room, this is Disneyland for... More

First, I will say, I was very reluctant to spend the money to stay here. We went with our 3 kids. We were also with my sister's husband and two kids and our parents. Everyone had fun here. The castle is beautiful and the grounds are fun to explore. The only hard part is not staying longer. We did the... More

My family and I have stayed here 4 times since 1989 and we found the hotel to be getting better and better each time we visit. Better rooms and especially better food and drink. Ashford Castle is a beautiful destination hotel with lovely facilities and grounds. The interior of the hotel is also beautifully decorated. The public rooms are truly... More

I really don't know where to start. We have just got home from a fantastic 3 night stay at the beautiful Ashford Castle and I can honestly say that we have never felt as special. Every member of staff we came across from cleaning staff to managers spoke to us and asked how our day was going. The day we... More

For my birthday my family and partner decided a day at Ashfield castle would be fitting, and rightly so! We spent two hours with our own personal falconry expert, walking with two birds called Fomhar and Senora which had so much character, beautiful creatures! Our falconry guide had an amazing relationship with these two birds and was a lovely person.... More
