Loved it but some rooms are very very far like buildings 11, 12 and 13. The beach is horrible and full of rocks. Impossible to enjoy or get in the ocean.The restaurants are great.The pools are gorgeous!

Its very nice, but its huge!!! the hotel is in the middle between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, there is no place you can get just by walking, its a long long walk from the freeway to the hotel, I suggest to rent a car...More

It is my understanding that if you are at the Grand Mayan you can go to any of the restaurants. There are some POOL AREAS that are reserved for guests staying in other areas, you would be asked what hotel you are staying at... More
It is my understanding that if you are at the Grand Mayan you can go to any of the restaurants. There are some POOL AREAS that are reserved for guests staying in other areas, you would be asked what hotel you are staying at to get into the more exclusive pool areas but I believe the restaurants are open to all guests.
