Special thanks for all the daily and nightly entertainment by the Joy Squad: Alam, Jareth,Andres, Andrea, Susy, Jesús, Tony,Dany and Otoniel. I enjoyed the zumba, daily pool games, the 4 pm dance lessons, the nightly pool and beach party. You, guys were all amazing and made my vacation a memorable experience. You do put smiles on all the guests' faces!

This resort is one of six on the multi-acre property. They are: Mayan Palace, Grand Mayan, Bliss, Grand Bliss, Luxxe, and Grand Luxxe. The Mayan Palace is the cheapest rated resort on the complex but it is very nice. All the buildings are set back from the beach to protect the mangroves and local ecology. We were surprised at check-in...

If you really like large properties, lots of people, and primarily a pool atmosphere, this is a great property for you. My family purchased our stay as part of a silent auction from a Member, otherwise this is typically not the type of resort/property we'd choose on our own. As such, our trip, while enjoyable for the most part, was...

First of all I will say that we are Interval Members and traded into this property. This was the first time we traded in without purchasing an all-inclusive option. (It is not available at this resort.) I will break down my review in sections: Location: Really nice and quiet. 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen and 30 minutes from Cancun....

We stayed at this beautiful resort Feb 4th though the 11th 2017 and I was planning to write a lovely review but now I'm so irritated with them I hesitate rating them till my billing issue is resolved. I was assured by the Front desk staff at check out and then again by phone after returning to the US this...

Stayed in a master room (king bed, 2ft wide patio) facing the back in Bldg 4 (good location). Romm was dark, musty & felt like a cell. Opened slider a couple of times but smell of septic tank sent us back in. Room & hallway were clean but echoed all sounds. The massive pool looks lovely but you must need...

Our time spent at Mayan Palace was enjoyable. Although, the property grounds are massive, the staff went above and beyond to make to things easy. Namely, Luis Gonzalez Aguilar (Bell Boy) gave special attention to us on numerous occasions. I would recommend this resort to other travelers but advise them to be prepared for a BIG RESORT PROPERTY.

Staying here is a mixed bag - as in all Mayans, the staff is the best part. They're friendly, efficient, and do a great job. But if you're going to take advantage of great snorkeling, forget it. The beach is beautiful, but getting into the water is a major adventure, with slippery and uneven rocks. Don't even try it without...

This resort is absolutely amazing. I don't even know where to begin. The grounds are beautiful everywhere you go. they have walking paths everywhere so you can get on the grounds via one of these paths. They have left many conservation grounds so you are walking through wooded areas that are beautifully lighted at night. they also have driving paths...

We've been here for two days and it's been one inconvenience after another. First, the place is too big. I hate waiting in line on vacation. You have to wait for a tram to go to the beach, the pool, a restaurant. Last night it was almost a two hour ordeal to get something from our car that we needed....
