We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Prati di Mugnano with our three year old son. The room was huge and very nicely decorated with a large, comfortable super king bed. But the best thing about this place is the owners. I have never received a warmer welcome, they were brilliant with our son and in the morning after a... More

Hiking the Via Degli Dei we received a warm welcome from hosts Luciano and Loredana. We enjoyed an aperitif and delicious snacks with our hosts and another friendly couple while watching the sunset. The apartment was nicely appointed with many unexpected amenities including a large bathtub perfect for a nice hot bath after a 12 mile hike. The location is... More

We stayed here 3 nights in September. The air had just started to chill. The rustic farmhouse, set amongst tranquil hills, was welcoming. Our hosts Loradona and Luchiano (I hope I don't misspell their names) were so warm, so lovely. We felt at home instantly. We stayed in a comfortable apartment with a nice bath and a kitchenette (I only... More

We only stayed one night, but instantly felt we belonged. Not long after our arrival, we'd lost track of time and place and had sunk into the pleasant atmosphere and pace of the place. Our two-year-old daughter soon "helped out" around the house feeding cats and peeling beans for supper with Loredana at the terrace. Our daughter felt so comfortable... More

We spent four nights at Prati di Mugnano, using it as our base to travel to Venice, Florence and Ravenna. Loradona & Luchiano couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The B&B is set in the hills along the old Roman walking route from Bologna to Florence, with a gorgeous countryside backdrop, delicious breakfast and incredibly welcoming hosts, we would... More

Just one night in this charming B&B while walking through Route of the Gods (Götterweg) from Bologna to Florenz. All you need after all-day-walk you'll find: warm welcome, quite room and excellent breakfast (tell what you like and you'll have it!).

Our time spent at this wonderful B&B and with Loradona & Luchiano couldn't have been any better. The hospitality shown to us for the duration of our trip was truly wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed spending time with the family. When we arrived, we found ourselves in front of a gate at the top of... More

Where to start with this amazing B&B!? The owners, Loradona and Luchiano, are one of the many things that put our stay in Sasso Marconi over-the-top. They had a lovely, clean room that was spacious, complete with a kitchen, sizable bathroom, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and beautiful view of the Italian countryside! It is a perfect combination: you can enjoy... More

Our stay at Prat di Mugnano could not have been better! What made it over the top lovely was Luciano and Loradona(sp?)! They were the best host and hostess one could ever ask for and you could tell they enjoyed what they were doing! When I got home my mom asked what one of my favorite parts of the trip... More
