This family-oriented hotel is definitely not 4-star. The room we were given was basic, with no concessions to comfort and with not even a couple of bottles of water in the fridge. There was a kettle but no complimentary coffee. The balcony afforded no privacy:...More
Nice family complex, but pretty far from beach. The hotel's minibus is not happy solution - it is small and goes to beach and back 3-4 times per day. On the beach, 2 sunbeds and umbrella costs amazing 9e. If you pay for 7 days...More

The picture on the hotel's website of one of the rooms (chintzy curtain, poppy picture on the wall, sofa, etc.) certainly did not match the room we were given. Whether that pic is of a suite or something, rather than a standard room, I don't know, but our room was basic. If you read other Tripadvisor reviews, the air-con issue crops up repeatedly. You might like to look at Porto Carras Meliton which, although we will probably have lost money on the Alkion and Porto Carras is five-star rather than four (a dubious classification for the Alkion anyway), was where we ended up: it was really, really nice. Hope this helps!
