We normally stay in St. Malo, but at the time of year that we wanted to visit, the Walled City is very crowded, and we wanted a quiet relaxing break. We have eaten many times at the Hotel de Bretagne, but never stayed there. We were not disappointed. Our room was modern with all the facilities that we required, and...

Stayed in this hotel on the way from Cherbourg to Brest. Good location, large room, clean and tidy, friendly staff. Decor needs a bit of attention. Only a two star hotel I think but good value for money. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed great burgers in a burger restaurant up an alleyway further down the main street.

Exellent. I have been coming to Dol on and off for twenty years. This is the best hotel that I know in the area. One feels very much at home - they do not even ask for a credit card when you book or check in. Dol is an underrated town. A good base for travelling around - especially if...

.The hotel is part of the Logis de France chain is well placed in the town. The welcome was friendly, the room very comfortable and good value. above all the food was excellent and again good value. We booked this through the local tourist office at short notice and were not at all disappointed . We stayed for three nights on a room only basis . The room (207) was a very good size and actually had a double and a single bed, so would have been suitable for a family. Being in the town but overlooking...

Our family of four appreciated the large, updated room (202). The only challenge was the bed quality. It was a little like a trampoline. If my husband moved in any way I floated about and vice versa. The staff was helpful and we mostly bumbled our way through the language barrier.

This family run hotel in the lovely historic town of Dol-de Bretagne was as good as ever on our recent visit. Always a warm friendly welcome from the owners and staff. The recently refurbished rooms include family rooms and rooms with facilities for disabled persons. Excellent range of menus at 16, 24 and 32 euros offering traditional cooking with plenty...

We had eaten at this hotel in early March - several evenings in a row and were very impressed with the food and the friendliness of the owners. We decided to spend a short break there and stayed from 7th - 10th September. Our room with a balcony was very large, extremely well appointed with a large bathroom (with wet...

Just looking for a bed for the night we checked the room, looked v good and modern. €72 not cheap but Ok. Looked into the restaurant and although the menu was good what was actually being served didn't look that great so we wandered into town instead. That night my partner got bitten by fleas! Not good and the crowning...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Our room was large and very well furnished. The owners are very welcoming and believe in good traditional service. We had some excellent meals in the dining room; quantity and quality beyond reproach. The hotel has a lift and there is good parking immediately outside. Prices very fair for such a high...
