We stayed in room 308, loverly view of the lower pool, we could see right out to sea and a view of the bars below. The music stopped at 11am so there was no noise from the bars below. The apartment was beautiful, could have been someone home it was so lovely. Full size fridge freezer, dish washer, full size oven and hob. Immaculately clean, the maid came twice in 7 days. Reception staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful. We used the upper pool with a pool bar run privately by 2 lovely ladies. The location is bang in the middle of everything so there’s plenty to see. There is a central bar area on site that has entertainment on most night, you don’t really need to leave the complex as the bars do food, which was amazing. The only down side is the whole complex is built on a very hilly site, if you have any mobility issues I would give it a miss. We are already booked to go again this year. We are in our 70’s and highly recommend this complex. Some people have been going there regularly for the last 30 years.

The rooms are perfect as are the balcony’s the staff are all amazing and do a fantastic job. Entertainment near the bars is great we wouldn’t use any other apartments in Costa adeje after visiting here, we last went in may and was planning on visiting again November but have rebooked for August as an extra trip we can’t wait to get back.

Stayed at the sunset bay club from 30th December for 7 nights 2 adults 2 children one of whom is autistic. On arrival Emma the receptionist was absolutely appalling her customer service was terrible. She could not be bothered to help us find our room being our first stay. We went off listening to reviews on here thinking that this hotel was amazing. This is by far the truth. The hotel itself is appealing. I wouldn let my animal stay here. We are an easy to please family and stayed in better 1 star apartments. We was in room D206 where the noise levels at night going into 3am in the morning was so bad from the bars below people singing and screaming we be lucky to get 4 hours sleep a night with being woken by 7am with barrels being dragged outside. I contacted the reception every single night in their what’s app and was promised to send security which never happened because the noise level would just get worse. We asked to be changed rooms so we could get some sleep but the hotel wanted to charge us a further 40 euro due to a cleaner. We had to contact out travel company who then informed the hotel of my complaint and the hotel give them different excuses to no availability to why they could not change our rooms. The rooms are stinking dirty and 7 days not once did we see a cleaner. We were left 2 toilet rolls at the start of our holiday and 1 bin bag. Our bins was overflown and no where to take them even to using our own carrier bags and the hand wash broken. There was even cockroaches in our wardrobes. I would never return to this hotel and never listen to these reviews like I did!!!!!!

We had a freshly renovated apartment at the top of the complex. The rooms were completely renovated and well equipped. Everything still smelled new. The beds are large, comfortable and have a pleasant degree of firmness. We had an illuminated wardrobe and air conditioning in the bedroom. The bathroom has a very spacious glass shower with rain shower and a hairdryer. The open kitchenette is fully furnished and equipped with absolutely everything you need. Even a cook would be happy with this on vacation. The living area is also equipped with air conditioning, as well as a dining table and a sofa bed with armchair. Wide windows provide access to the two large balconies. Here you can sunbathe or eat wonderfully. The furniture here was also new, as was the parasol. The disadvantage of the upper areas of the large complex is the proximity to the motorway, you can hear it quite well. Germans are rarely seen here, the complex (as well as the entire town) is in English-speaking hands. The loungers by the smaller and heated pool are always reserved as soon as it opens in the morning. You can usually still get loungers at the large pool later on. The use of loungers and towels is free. We didn't go to the evening entertainment, but it made a very good impression. It suited the 40-50 year old crowd. Everything is well-behaved and orderly. We didn't see any drunk tourists in the hotel. Otherwise, everything is on site, various supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, etc. The beaches are less than 10 minutes' walk away. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, especially at reception. Digitalization is also a priority here, and you check in on a tablet. There are a lot of things to sign when checking in. The entrance to the complex is not easy to find for newcomers, and the sign is also quite small. The club has an underground car park, costs 8 euros a day, and free parking spaces in town are rare! If there are any, then only in the upper part of the complex. We had a great time at the Sunset Bay Club!

We stayed here for 1 week over October half term. Family of 8 over 2 rooms with a mixture of adults, teens and children.
Key points- you pay a 100 Euro deposit on the room on arrival by card that gets returned through the night when you check out- nobody made us aware of this and we hadn’t planned for it and hadn’t brought our bank cards! Had to use our holiday cards and spending money!
This hotel has autism friendly accreditation! I’m unsure what this entails, BUT no one batted an eye lid at my flappy shouty boy.
Apartment was brilliant, plenty of space, storage, kitchen had everything needed for self catering, including a dishwasher with tablets included! Beds were all really comfy including the pull out sofa bed. 2 patio areas one with sun loungers and one with a table and chair set.
The hotel it’s self was clean and well maintained, pool areas were good although standard sunlounger wars with selfish people putting towels down then disappearing for hours 🤷♀️ the life guard was lovely and the children’s entertainment team seemed nice although mine didn’t access this.
5 mins walk downhill to the beach and close enough to all the shops and bars without being too close!
We really enjoyed and already planning a return trip next summer!

Although I our experience certainly did not match up to the "stress free escape" promised, the Sunset Bay could easily be one of the best accommodation options in the area if you get the right room location.
The positives of the site include: 1. Really friendly and always helpful staff, whether reception, cleaners, maintenance. A credit to the firm. 2. Fantastic location in the middle of Costa Adeje, with all amenities and beaches in walking distance. Other sites like go karting and Monkey Park a short cab ride away with taxis outside the hotel. 3. Rooms have all the equipment and facilities you will need, including air con in each room and access to drinkable water saving carrying bottles from the supermarket. 4. Supermarket in the square on site which is comparable prices to other supermarkets outside of the complex which is handy. 5. Plenty of eating and drinking options on site with live music most evenings. 6. Excellent experience with check in and out.
The issues for us were: 1. We had a all young male group allocated to the two rooms directly above us who arrived back from Veronica's strip (I presume) about 3am and then continued to party until about 06:30am. I have no problem with what anyone else wants to do on their own holiday, but putting a family with kids in the room underneath these groups was short sighted by the management team, and it stopped us sleeping even though we did not go to bed too early. 2. The room we were given (H Block 101) was reminiscent of a prison, with barbed wire being the view form both balconies (See photos). This was probably the worst view I have had on a holiday, and that is saying something. However, I can imagine rooms on level 2 & 3 would have had a nice view of Costa Adeje. 3. We had no hot water for the first two days of the holiday, but this was fixed by the maintenance team. 4. Unless you are prepared to queue from 07:30 in the morning you have no chance of obtaining a sunbed. Not too much of an issue for me, but one to understand if you like to use the pools on site.
If you do go to the resort, please try the Sun Inn, Hair of the Dog and McGuires on site which are all great. Also if so inclined sign up to the 2 week offer at the Clan Fitness gym over the road which is one of the best I have used.
In summary, please opt not to be allocated room H101, and I would recommend asking to be allocated to floors 2 & 3.

We’ve stayed very close to Sunset Bay many times but never in the complex, this was a very last minute booking for a week for my 60th birthday and my husbands birthday a few days later and we weren’t disappointed. We could only get a two bedroomed apartment so of course we had lots of extra space but it really was worth the price. Location wasn’t great with steps up then down to a lower level, we were in H block but as I said it was last minute and we managed just for the week. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped, the air conditioning was very good. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient, we weren’t included in a whatsapp message system described to us upon arrival but it didn’t matter because reception was 24 hours and very helpful with any queries including a later cleaning slot following our celebrations the night before for my birthday 😂 The cleaners and porters were also friendly and very helpful. We liked the fact we were on the doorstep of so many of our favourite bars and restaurants and indeed also enjoyed visiting a couple new to us. Thank you for a fab stay.

We recently stayed at sunset bay in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was finished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean on arrival. The kitchen is fully fitted and even has a dishwasher, with some tablets included. There is also filtered water on tap which saves on buying bottled water locally. The bedroom is large with plenty of wardrobe space.
Outdoors was a large terraced area complete with 2 cushioned sun loungers, table & chair set with 4 chairs and an extending clothes drier.
The pool areas were clean with all the sun loungers being in good condition. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within the complex, so finding a table for food & drinks is never an issue.
The location is ideal for accessing everything that Costa Adeje has to offer.

We have just had the most amazing stay at Sunset Bay Club in Adeji. The staff at reception were very accommodating with our accommodation request. Due to difficulty climbing stairs I asked for accommodation with as few stars to get to it as possible. I also asked for a shower which was not in a bath. Our accommodation had one step to get to it (there was a lift to take us up and down levels). The shower was a large walk-in shower. The accommodation was spotless, very quiet air-conditioning, dishwasher, coffee maker. We have stayed here a few times and we always get the same very high standards. Highly recommended.

Hi, we stayed in a top floor apartment and the large balcony was perfectly safe, but with a one year old I’d suggest asking for a ground floor room maybe.
I don’t know about a high chair or a cot so maybe clarify this direct with Sunset Bay Club. Enjoy 👍
