Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There was a big sign outside the hotel saying recently refurbished, well, what can I say the rooms are awful. So what do you get for €70? You get a rock hard mattress on a bed that creaks if you breath. Wood-chip wallpaper with chips on the paintwork, a dirty sticky floor and cobwebs on the walls and near the sink. The shower tray is stained.

You get what you pay. Services are related to the amount paid, so a low rate implies few services. Automatic check-in with access codes sent by email, the only downside is that the apartments are exterior, like American motels and, in the cold winter, often you have to redo the code for several minutes. Very warm room and no heaters, so towels stay wet. Fortunately they are changed daily.

Hotel not very clean. Incessant noise all night. It’s true that the manager can’t do anything about it but when you have to go to work the next day it’s not possible. Breakfast OK for this type of establishment but not enough space, you get jostled on your table by people who want to pass.

Strasbourg and other cities are part of the critair. If you arrive by car you need this sticker to apply to the car! You must order it in Italy in advance. Otherwise you are at risk of sanctions

Location: hotel in an industrial/commercial area. A stone's throw away is the Grafenstaden station (it has no ticket offices so tickets can be purchased online or done first in larger stations). There is a shopping center and various shops.

Hotel: motel style with rooms on two floors facing outwards.
Staff always very kind and smiling
Vending machines available
Free parking

Room: second floor. No elevator.
Small and functional. Private bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. Soap and shower gel are already provided. TV, desk, window.
Truly essential and functional to our needs.
Perfect Wi-Fi
Cleaned properly

Breakfast: basic proposal but for us it was more than fine. Bread, jam, yogurt, croissant, hot drink or juice machine, cereals.

Very poor welcome, very bad smell in the shower room, noisy construction, 8am. He soiled my cars. We left the hotel on August 11 in the morning, with a bad feeling about welcoming him.
2 days, Very bad memories.

We went as a family, with two bedrooms, very small and dwarf bathroom. To spend the night long enough. With heating in winter and hot shower. The breakfast lousy as in the entire hotel chain. Unhealthy, without being able to sit, they don't replenish anything, unkind staff, you tell them to replenish and they tell you that there are no more things left. I wouldn't pay for breakfast.

So we spent one night here after driving from the UK we used it as a stop over to put our head down before going onto Zurich.

We paid £49 for the night rooms are compact and basic but that’s value for money given the price.

We were held up by an accident so arrive at 1am - there are no staff simply check in at the machine it prints a code and boom find the room put the code in and your in.

We spent one night there with one family room (up tp 4 people) and 1 double room. The place is situated behind a local store (follow the signs to the entrance)
We had a problem to get our pass as we arrived before the welcome desk was open but the use of the digital helpdesk was good and someone came to help us quickly.
Easy access to Strasbourg center (15minutes without traffic)
Rooms were clean and big enough apart from the family room bathroom that was very small. Quiet during night. Breakfast is optional but a good deal with croissants, bread, juice, eggs and bacon.

Hotel in a commercial area, near the train stop where you can reach Strasbourg in 10 minutes.
Very friendly staff, I checked in online, very convenient. Breakfast a little poor
