What a breathtaking view and top hospitality the food was well prepared. I love the idea of dressing smart casual as it compliments the place and sets a romantic dinner for 2. Activities were limited due to weather but we could got some nice DVD's from the reception and it was really nice Thank you so much

After a 20km journey over roads that I expected to be worse given previous reviews I'd read, we arrived at this lovely sandstone lodge, designed & built by it's owners who we had the privilege to meet..... Unfortunately, our 2 full days there were very overcast & we didn't get to enjoy a boat trip on the dam. We did...

Outstanding place in a breathtaking surrounding. A stunning landscape and excellent service allowed us to rewind. Trish, John and their staff gave us warm welcome and made us feel at home straight from the beginning. The food (especially breakfast) is excellent and the selection of wines is really good. A perfect place to get away from everything.

There is something refreshing about being truly isolated from the hustle and bustle of city life that really allows one to relax. There are few 5 star experiences one can have in this country completely out of sight or earshot of any roads or highways, and wild horses is one such place, managing to be both isolated and homely simultaneously....

We were the only guests for the evening. We arrived at 5.30 tired from a long drive to a manager who clearly didn't want to be there. We were informed that as we were the only guests the staff liked to go early so could we eat at an earlier time than the usual 7pm! It wasn't the 5 star...

Dear Penelope, Thank you for your very honest review here at Wild Horses. I do remember checking you in and while I realise that no excuse makes up for your stay, I must apologise as I was quite ill and therefore would have seemed much less enthusiastic than I normally am with guests. I therefore handed the evening over to...

This amazing little hotel simply blew us away. We arrived quite late on the Friday evening having had to leave after work (it's only a 3 hour blast from Joburg - all the roads are good apart from the final 20kms on dirt road).
