Four Years ago we were here for 5 days and because we loved it so much with Don and Raw, their very nice place and the island (and surroundings!) we wanted to come back. This year we did and it was fantastic again. We had the Yai bungalow with a great view, very nice to leave the doors open at night (during daytime also actually, this is possible here!). But their other bungalows are very good also. The bungalow is very clean and the bed has a good mosquito net. The terrace is huge with a nice hammock and a place to sit, and again this beautiful view. One of our days we saw three hornbills just in front of our terrace, what an experience! It is very nice to lay in your hammock and see the beautiful sunrise (okay you have to be awake early for this, but if you are, enjoy it!). With the two fans (one fixed at the ceiling near the bed and the other replaceable) you do not need aircon. The bed is very soft, especially for Thai standards, and the mattress has two sides (one more soft than the other). Don and Raw are very, very friendly people who do all their best to help you in anyway, transport, boat tours, nice places to go to (also spa's and fishfarms), hiring motorbike, splendid food, nice talk. We had a very good breakfast also and I always remember the sticky rice with mango, so delicious. And even better enjoying breakfast and dinner with the view you have here at the Andaman sea and the islands in front of you.

We spent 5 nights at Hill House in February 2020. Our bungalow (Glang 2) had a terrific view over the bay and the limestone islands. A hammock on the veranda made sure we could spend many hours gazing at that view. Breakfasts were lovely - mango sticky rice with another little treat each morning followed by fruit, toast and coffee. We also had evening meals there as they were so nice. The owners arranged a fantastic trip round the islands for us as well as hiring out bikes which we used to visit different parts of the islands. A wonderful stay in a wonderful location. Highly recommended

I need more than five stars to rate how much I love Hill House, and there aren't enough stars in the universe to how much love I have for the people who run it, as well as all of the people who work with them. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. When we got to our lovely room Nu had arranged the sweetest message for my partner's birthday, which was beautifully written on a leaf. The room was perfect, the view just stunning, and our stay just got better when we had our first breakfast. Every day you get sticky rice and mango, which is delicious. Then, you also get a choice of various pancakes, or eggs, fried, poached, scrambled, an omelette, or boiled. We're not done yet, you also get your choice of fruit smoothie (I recommend the coconut, but they're all good). And, you can help yourself to toast and tea/coffee. We also booked a boat trip, which was brilliant, and came with an amazing lunch (see photo). And, we hired a moped, which only cost 200 bht, plus a litre of fuel. I highly recommend this, so you can see as much as lively island as possible. I'm not confident on a moped, but the roads are very quiet. If you've read this far, you must be interested, so please stay here, you will not regret it.

It's the perfect place to relax. The view oft he sunrise is sensational. The friendly owner couple are very helpful with tips and recommendations. The best option to discover the island is by scooter or bicycle, which are available for rent at the resort.

Dear PascaL, thanks a lot for the nice review of Hillhouse. We, Don and Raw, very much hope to see you again one day. Even though our English may not be perfect, we are very happy that our efforts have made mutual understanding possible. May the days here on the island have brought you some peace, relaxation and distance from everyday life. We wish you everything, all the best, stay healthy, stay as nice as we got to know you. This place is unbelievable. We were picked up at the pier for free and taken to our beautiful bungalow with the most amazing view and the comfiest mattress I’ve ever slept on. We were handed the key to a moped to drive during our stay (after thankfully being shown how to drive by the lovely hosts) and the next day we were handed a kayak to explore the island by sea. Each morning we were greeted with pancakes and banana smoothies to start our day which the hosts wouldn’t take any money for.
This place really is a gem and I can’t rate it highly enough. We had booked to stay two places on the island and wish we could have just stayed on at Hillhouse when it was time to move. They even left us to our next hotel!
The most beautiful island, bungalow and people you will meet. We loved our stay and I’m sure you will too. The easiest way to book is through their website. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

It’s hard not to fall in love with the family who run Hill House - we loved our stay. Incredibly welcoming, an excellent breakfast every day (mango and sticky rice is a must try), and the bungalows are very well kept, with amazing sunrise views of the bay. We’d love to come back here

They also do boat rides and we had a great day exploring the islands and they provided us a picnic to have on a more-secluded island 👌

Koch yao noi is a quiet island, definitely not a party island. The accommodation is in a quiet bay on the hillside, a short walk from the beach. The beach is strongly influenced by the tides and is not particularly inviting for swimming.
The Hillhouse is fantastic! The reception/breakfast room is very nice with an amazing view of the sea. The bungalow is new, clean and tastefully decorated. The most beautiful hammock in the world with a magnificent view! We stayed here for two days. One day we went on a full-day trip with the owner on his boat. It was a lovely day. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great! Recommended!

A heavenly retreat, with beautiful accommodations, a romantic setting and the most beautiful sunrises ever. The breakfast, the friendliness and hospitality of the owners make it complete. The options, for example, to rent a scooter, take a boat trip, transfer to the pier: everything was there. The hornbills fly around you, the monitor lizards climb the trees, wildlife is everywhere.

What is the difference between the 3 Glang bungalows? Is any of them better than another?
Answer from Hillhouse
There is no difference between the Glang bungalows. The Thai word "glang" means "middle" with reference to the size. All these bungalows have a good view on the ocean.
Answer from Hillhouse
All bungalows are designed and located to have a good view on the ocean. The most private one is Glang 2. The bungalows have no aircon because it's not necessary. The doors are made of glass. Best regards

Is there a difference between Lek 1 and Lek 2? Are there similar views from both bungalows?
Answer from Hillhouse
There is no difference between these 2 bungalows. They are located next to each other and both have a very good view on the sea.

Hi, is there a bar as part of the property?
Answer from Hillhouse
The 6 bungalows are new and well appointed, yet their Thai style blends in very well with the beautiful surroundings. They are all offset from one another and with the vegetation in between, they feel very private. We stayed in Lek 1 bungalow, which has a million dollar view of the bay. We never wanted to leave the comfy papasan chairs on the balcony! The peaceful, quiet atmosphere here is so soothing. Also, being up on the hill, it gets some good breezes. The bungalow is spotlessly clean, with a large bed. The surrounding is dominated by wood at a mountain slope. This means there is of course no bar but a coffee-shop.
Answer from Klaus W
Pattaya, Thailand
All bungalows have a good view. I think the only difference is that bungalow Yai is located higher than Glang 2. Glang 2 is more intimate.
