We stayed here whilst on honeymoon and it was just delightful. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits and were completely blown away by the amazing art and creations. Truly beautiful and an amazing and peaceful destination. It's quite close to Queenstown (25 min drive) and totally worth it. It is in a stunning area and so relaxing. If you're...

If you are staying in Queenstown this is a "do not miss". Will satisfy the keen gardener, those interested in sculpture and the house is a craft persons delight. You are shown round the house and able to wander in the garden freely.

Called into this Garden on the way back from a lovely walk in Glenorchy. The owner has put a lot of work into the Gardens which were beautiful. The bonus was visiting the house which has been self built. Well worth the visit. Check out the toilet!!!

most beautiful garden I've ever seen. My partner and I were just passing by and decided to take a look. Never regretted it. We didn't want to leave. We got a tour of the house as well and each room is so unique and original right down to the toilets . Because this garden is not highly advertised there wasn't...

This place is on the main road from Queenstown to Glenorchy (a scenic journey in itself). We found it by accident and spent a delightful hour wandering through extensive gardens, enchanted by the quirky art created by the owner, the beautiful birds and plants, and the glimpses through foliage of the crystal blue lake. It is the essence of peace....

This garden and home are the life's work of the artist and his wife who live here, and it is located in one of the world's most beautiful natural settings on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. I can't say enough about how special this place is. It should be the centerfold of a hundred gardening and art magazines by now....

I booked this place for my photography trip because it is in the middle of Queenstown and Glenorchy. (I'm only an amateur photographer) I knew that there were no wifi or TV or meals before I went. It didn't bother me at all because of my trip purpose. I traveled alone to find the beauty of Glenorchy and Paradise. And...

We were told about this place by a lady in Queenstown who said it was a place we must visit. It is 26km from Queenstown on an excellent road with breathtaking views. We stopped 4 times to take photos. The mountains in the background are scenes from The Lord of the Rings movies. Thomas owns this place with his partner...

This place is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. A true national NZ treasure. Part of its appeal is its complete disconnection from the harried everyday worries of life. Yes, there is no wifi; nor is there cell phone coverage. Come here to be "off the grid" and feed your soul by soaking in the beauty of the space that the owners...
