My wife and I have rented the AAA cabin for several years now at the end of June. Every year the owner has upgraded something in the cabin. This past year, they added new living room furniture. A new settee with reclining seats. A new love seat, also with reclining seats and a new double sofa bed. The spacious bathroom,...

Found the AA cabin very accommodating for 4 people. Large dining and living room area. Bedrooms small but adequate. Loved the location , walkable to everything in downtown . Only disappointment was the poorly stocked kitchen ... Could have more serving bowls , glasses, , and other conveniences like a cheese grater , pot scrubber..

great experience over the May 24 weekend. The rooms were more updated then photos on website showed (new floors & counter tops). The staff was friendly and helpful and the cabins were clean and had everything you needed from a tea pot, to can opener to bbq and patio with chairs included. Dog friendly which was important! would stay again...

We have stayed in these facilities 3 times, in either a AAA or AA unit. The furnishings are very basic and the decor needed, but you have everything you need for a nice stay at Waskesiu. The best part is the location - love being able to walk to town and to the beach. You will not be in the...

We have been coming here for upwards of 13 years...we try to attend the MS bike tour each September, and this is just become the place to stay. It is pleasant to call them up and book a weekend. We have always had a pleasant conversation, and they have been most helpful. The place is located at the top of...

My friend stayed here this past week, and her cabin was over priced for what it was. I visited her at the cabin for a day. Seemed to be clean enough though. It was rustic, needed improvements. I wanted to stay for the weekend, I was already in the park so I asked the owner if she had any vacancy....

The lady who took our reservation was very curt and impatient on the phone. However, the staff were friendly and helpful on location. We stayed in a 2 room cabin with an indoor washroom and a fireplace. The cabin was very run down. It seemed clean but it was hard to tell considering the condition of the cabin. The rooms...

My family and I have now stayed at these cabins for a week both this summer and last summer (2013). We feel for the price paid, these cabins are a terrific value in Waskesiu, and great for families. Both occasions we have had a B+ cabin, which is ideal, as it includes 2 bedrooms, full kitchenette, and attached bathroom with...

We stayed in the motel portion of the motel and while the rooms were clean the bed was horribly saggy and uncomfortable covered with a flat sheet that came undone the moment you turn over in the bed. The rain shower head would have been nice it it hadn't kept falling down and we either scalded or froze if anyone...

I recently spent 3 days with a friend at the cabins. What at first seemed pricey soon became clear that everything in the park & vicinity is pricey. We had a 2 bedroom cabin which was small but adequate. The fireplace was lovely as there were a few rainy days & evenings. The kitchenette was fully stocked. The bedrooms were...
