Of the places (B&Bs) we stayed at during our tour of Ireland, this was one of the best. The attention to detail, decorating, cooked-to-order, full Irish breakfast in the morning and our host's friendliness all made it a wonderful experience. Parking on the "street" can be a challenge.

The best sign of a great place is the fact that it becomes a 'must' for my next stay. Therefore, while only staying for a short time, Stirabout Lane B&B has become my only choice for lodging in Wicklow. This was going to be the first stop for my sister-in-law, both for lodging and exploring, and I knew the best...

We stayed here our last night in Ireland. Daphne was so lovely and helpful. The room was decorated beautifully and had enough room for 3 kids, my husband and myself. We had misplaced my youngest stuffed toy early on our Irish trip and we had it sent to stir about lane from Dublin. Daphne had the package waiting on my...

We stayed here for a night while walking the Wicklow way. The very friendly hostess picked us up and brought us to the B&B. it's located in the centre of the small town Rathdrum and one of the larger B&B's we stayed at during our holiday in Ireland. The room was nice and clean with a modern bathroom. Breakfast the...

Stirabout Lane is Daphne. Her stamp is on every detail in this quaint and welcoming little Bed and Breakfast. The shabby Chic decor in our room was just superb and has clearly been decorated by someone with an eye for style and detail. Daphne had thought of everything her guests might require including body creams and the most comfortable bed...

Stirabout Lane is a beautiful B&B on the high street in Rathdrum. It is so inconspicuous one might not notice it from the outside, but on the inside one finds Irish hospitality. The room was spotless. Our hostess was most helpful with every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was excellent. It is located right in the middle of the...

This little gem of a bed and breakfast is hidden behind an unassuming front door but once inside it is a clean, comfortable and special find in a very quaint village. The owner Daphne was available, helpful and knows the region and amenities around well. Breakfasts were excellent and the Oat porridge was delicious and prepared fresh. The bed was...
