Nicest place to stay in the area. Roomy clean and comfortable place. We had a kitchen that was really important since places to eat were closed for the saison. So we cooked ourselves. Good location, close by is the supermarket. Nice gazebo with fire pit.

We stayed for a week with the intent of bear viewing in Tweedsmuir Park. The lodge is about 20-30 minutes drive back to the bear viewing stand but you can see wildlife as you drive along the road if you keep your eyes peeled. Our room/suite had self catering facilities and it was one large bedroom/lounge with a bathroom and...

We spent only one night at the lodge, signed up for an afternoon bear watching tour, and had dinner at the restaurant. The room was a bit rustic, but clean and comfortable, with satellite TV. Our bear watching tour delivered on the bears, our tour guide was knowledgable, we enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend this to others. The...

I shared a room with my cousin, each having a separate bedroom. There was a small kitchen which was big enough and well equipped enough to cook decent meals if you so wished. One bathroom, and one of us had to pass through the other bedroom to get there. Breakfast was meagre, not much choice and only Continental. On site...

My wife and I have just spent 4 days at this beautiful lodge Sept 2015. The staff and service are fantastic, friendly and very helpful, we were treated as friends not customers. Holly took us on two guided trails which proved very insightful and eduxational we saw a grizzly mother and two cubs at very close quarters and a very...

We had a great time at BCML. Accommodations are roomy, luxurious for the area but pretty basic. Kitchens included and they need to be, few restaurants in the area, the lodge does dinner only five days a week during bear season, no dinners otherwise, no lunch. There is a grocery store within walking distance. The grounds are lovely with lots...

My Wife and I floated the river with Fraser on the morning of August 25th, we were definitely at the early end of the Salmon feeding season. Even if we had not seen a bear, we learned so much about the Salmon, the Bears and life in Bella Coola that it would have been a winner anyway. As luck had...

We enjoyed this eco-tour at the Bella Coola Mountain Lodge. Even though it was early in the summer for bears, we enjoyed the float on the Bella Coola river. We say many bald eagles and a couple of salmon. Our guide, Fraser shared both his passion for and knowledge of the grizzlies, eagles, salmon and 'his' Bella Coola Valley. Thank...

I stayed here for a week on a work trip. Had a great time. The owners Fraser and Holly were really helpful in terms of tips on where to run. Note you need a vehicle to get here as it is 15-20 minute drive from Bella Coola, but it is the easiest and most serene drive. The Shopeasy grocery store...

We stayed at Bella Coola Lodge for four nights in September 2014 as part of our trip to British Columbia from the UK. The lodge has comfortable accommodation with facilities for self catering in the room which we did use. We enjoyed a couple of barbecues on the fire pit in the covered area, there was plenty of wood and...
