This hotel had a very ski lodge feel to the main areas and rooms. Nice furnishings and comfy beds! However there was a peculiar smell to our room but couldn't place where it was coming from. The room we stayed in had a big bathroom but a few of the tiles in the shower room were chipped and the shower handle...

We were staying at a nearby hotel (Corsaro) and they send us here for dinner with a 15% discount voucher. Excellent pizza and good service. Setting is pretty basic and room temperature was very high. They also sell some local products and souvenirs

A unique place at the end of the road leading to the top of Etna. Very friendly staff, helpful, professional. Rooms are not big but comfortable, wifi works and the place is nice and quiet during the night. The pizza restaurant is a bit expensive but seeing the location not even that much. The perfect starting place for an Etna...

Very convenient, where you need it. Has snack bar/cafe downstairs and pizzeria/ristorante upstairs. Cafe service is efficient and relatively cheap - met the need! You can park on the road nearby for free and it is where the cable car runs from. Lots of souvenir places in the vicinity as well.

We ate in the restaurant here mainly because we wanted to get inside during a heavy rain on a visit to Mount Etna. Much to our surprise, the meal was fantastic. My husband's pasta carbonara was one of the best we have had in Italy (and we've tasted quite a few!) Good service and an attractive dining room. Overall a...

We didn't stay here, but ate at the restaurant. Located at about the 6,300 ft. level on Mt. Etna, it is an extraordinary location, and a good choice for lunch. The atmosphere is Italian, yet fells Alpine. We chose to have pizza - MONTE PIZZILLO: Mozzarella, cream of asparagus, porcini mushrooms, bacon, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, oregano. This is...

In the refugo you feel the admosphere of the mountains. It is big but in a way cosy. Good to stop here for a cappuchino or a little bite before you go up to the Silvestri craters (when the weather is bad) or to the top of Monte Edna!

We had 2 hours to visit this area when on a tour to Mount Etna. There are plenty of shops most of them selling the same thing as the other. We had a nice walk to the Crater Silvestri. Also had a nice pasta lunch in one of the restaurant's.

It is more a hotel than a mountain rifugio, so it has all comfort you need at a fair rate. In addition, it has a good restaurant and friendly service. Breakfast is great, way beyond your typical Italian breakfast! Ad of course, you cannot find a better location to visit the Etna
