This B&B is a budget variant but enough good. A small house with 2 floors, there is a room with private entrance on each of them.
+ Our room was very spartan, but warm, nice and enough clean. There was fumigator and free air conditioning. The room was situated on the first floor, with a balcony with a table and chairs. + Sanitaryware was functional. + Check-in before 21:00, but you can ask the owner about late check-in. + Good price-quality balance (57 euros per day) + There is a small free beach not far from the b&b, 15 min. on foot, but we went by car and parked it for free (in September) right near the beach. + B&B is situated in a very green area, there were even a kiwi-trees and a cozy gazebo under the vine. + Free parking under the awning right near the room entrances. + In general you can see that the owner try to create maximum comfort for the guests.
- They have charged our credit card one week before arrival (we were informed about it in advance) but it was very strange because it was one day before the end of period of free cancellation. - There was no enough light in the room at the evening. - There is no internet in this B&B. - Breakfast is not a breakfast, only minimum of products in the room - zwiebacks, jams and cookies, coffee, tea, juices and water. There were also coffee machine, microwave and fridge, but NO kettle. And the dishes were not very clean. - There were a few cobwebs, but we haven’t seen any insects. - The light was constantly flashing when the refrigerator turned on and off. - This B&B is quite good for 1-2 nights, but not for a long vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Nonna Piera. The apartment is very nice, we loved the garden and big table under the wine ranks. It is easy to bike to the beautiful beach, town and restaurants. Marina di Carrara is a nice little town, has lots of nice (beach) restaurants. We loved the coffee bars and ice-cream bars. Thank you Davide for all the extra services, being our personal taxi since we could not find one, and your hospitality and kindness! We hope to return next year!
