The staff are very friendly and the art is amazing, the rooms are also very nice. The breakfast is quite frankly terrible, everything is prepared the night before and left out over night. There is no restaurant, though the local cuisine is quite amazing. The mini bar was not refilled once during my 6 night stay. Internet was good and...

On the whole, a positive experience. Our room was airy, luminous and it even had a window in the bathroom! We were kindly welcomed and led to our nice modern furnished room. The brook under the hotel was pleasantly gurgling, the air con was correctly set. However, there was a gap over the bed, where a modern piece of art...

Went on a business trip and shared a twin bedroom for three nights. First of all; the hotel is okay. But for having four stars it is nowhere near them. The hotel interior is lacking a bit of character and the atmosphere is quite sterile. The air condition didnt work in several rooms and it was very hot! I woke...

No way on Earth is this 4 star hotel, just a high priced B&B. The first appearance is good with a modern an clean reception and very good reception staff. The rooms however a little dissapointing. The air con not really working and cleaning obviously done in a hurry as it just gets flicked over. Bottled water, complimentary? only provided...

Having relocated from Milan to Carrara on business, I was optimistic with the 4 star rating. I had to pay in full upfront. On arrival, after the hassle of finding somewhere to park on the Street, check in was swift and easy. The decor and artwork gave a fancy feel to reception. The rooms are clean and basic. A large...

This hotel is breathtaking w/its fabulous art everywhere, sleek furniture, large bathroom, etc. That said, its basics and amenities are, clearly, of very low quality. The bed was big but hard as a rock, the towels were very thin and not enough of them, the parking (not included in rate) was a couple of blocks away with no alternative valet,...

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. There is neither parking nor a spot where you can unload your luggage. There is also no bar or toilet anywhere in the hotel. The shower in the standard room had such low pressure that taking showers was impossible but when given another room we were charged extra 11 Euros per room per...

Many hotels have artwork nicely incorporated into their décor; here they commissioned truly handmade original pieces throughout. It gives the hotel a real flair. The design is excellent. My favorite space in the building was the roof-top breakfast lounge. With it’s full height windows, you get a vista of the surrounding mountains and the ocean in the distance. It might...

We hadn't planned to stop off in Carrara and from the motorway it didn't look too promising. This hotel was also the only one listed in the town so I was expecting the worse. I was really pleasantly surprised by the welcome and the quality of the hotel. The room was comfortable and recently decorated. the bathroom was spacious with...

We visited in October 2013 with Hugo our ten year old grandson to show him where the David stone came from. Carrara is a city of marble in the marble mountains. This hotel is a great location and a modern hotel with all that is required, and with the bonus of a roof top breakfast room and terrace that has...
