Family run hotel. Thecreceptionist takes the time to recommend things to do. Inexpensive, especially midweek off season. Very comfortable beds. Immaculately clean. Nice buffet breakfast. Direct access to long boardwalk and beach.

We paid extra for a sea room as shown in the pictures on Booking.com. The actual room we got was much worse than those shown, dark and miserable. When we asked to be moved the staff were offhand. After 2 days they moved us but we spent 2 days of a 4 day holiday in an dark pokey room nothing... More

It is nice to see your opinion here too. Thank you for discribing the hotel of horrors. We can not have your opinion in mind cause you said.. 1- hotel somewhat dated- when it is completely renovated (rooms, entrance, reception, hall, living-room, breakfast room, lights, toilets) 2- dark- when all rooms are exterior 3- Unnatractive- A former palace converted a... The location is fantastic as it's right on the beachfront, but if you have your windows open you can hear conversations on the promenade, that's how near it is. Our room had a sea view (at an extra charge) which was nice. The hotel itself is average. Beds not so comfy and on the small side. Breakfast very mediocre and... More

This place would be fantastic on an average day. We had drizzle an cold. However, the room was above average and the windows/shutters open to the view and sounds of the sea made this a 9 or 10. A short walk across the bridge and restaurants a plenty. We decided to walk all the way round on recommendation from the... More

We spent two nights here, and were very impressed with the standard of the hotel. This family-run hotel provides clean, nicely presented rooms with free wifi, and an excellent choice for breakfast. We had a room on the side of the hotel, with a glimpse of a sea-view. But, because the room wasn't directly on the seafront, we had the... More

Our first visit to the area, staying for a week and we chose this hotel with sea facing balcony. The hotel is small and low key (just what we like), the room was spacious and kept very clean by the staff. Breakfast was fine - a good choice and we noticed attention to detail concerning the cleanliness. A walk into... More

The hotel gives a good value for money. It has been renovated during the winter and it looks splendid. We think that they can improve the quality of the pillows and invest more in breakfast. It was good but basic. The hotel is very clean and very well located on the sea shore.

Stayed one night but could have done more. The hotel is right next to the beach and is also a short 8/10 minute walk into the town centre where there is a wide range of places to eat and drink. The hotel rooms are modern, comfortable and well equipped. There was very little noise and a good night's rest was... More

A really good hotel right on the beach and easy stroll into town for dinner, where there are a selection of excellent restaurants. The best property is almost next door Gran Hotel with Spa and large restaurant but notably more expensive and you can use all the facilities whilst staying here. The staff are first class, the 'traditional' rooms are... More

We fell upon this fabulous hotel that was situated right on the water. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and very personable. The beach was beautiful and the promenade was steps from our rooms. We were there in late September so the rates were reduced but the weather was great.
