Hola, nice drive Ribadesella from santander, l would love to say we walked but were not that type pilgrim . found pension ok , bit tucked away but worth the anxious track down. Small little place in the middle of the town. folks bearing zimmer frames do not go to this pension. room was clean and tidy and a reasonably... More

What a wonderful place to stay in Ribadesella. We were in one of the rooms overlooking the restaurant of the same name. The pension is modern, clean and very beautifully decorated with a lot of thought in in the finishing touches. It is very central so you do not need your car if you are staying in the town. The... I arrived quite early and the young man behind the desk seemed to have not wanted to come to work that day. He was quite grumpy as he showed me to a very pleasant room with a nice bathroom. To add to my woes I had a shower and the base of the shower had a very smooth surface (no... More

I've read nice reviews about the owner of Pension Arbidel, so he should save his reputation and let go of the girl that was working on the day we arrived. She couldn't have made us feel anymore unwelcome if she tried. She was rude and failed on every account to be helpful. Even to the point of when we asked... More

We had a small but perfectly formed room at the top of the stairs over the restaurant of the same name. It was prettily decorated with lace curtains, wooden shutters and floral bedding. We only saw the staff to obtain the key and pay and then when we returned the key the next morning. It was fine for one or... More

We loved this pension, traditional decor but a lovely modern bathroom. There was no balcony but the outside space made up for this with good picnic benches and umbrellas so we could eat our breakfast outside bought from the local bakery shop. I am usually quite fussy about accommodation but I could not fault this pension. It was also bang... More

My partner and I rolled into Ribdadesella on a rainy October night to stay in somewhere that turned out horrific. When my partner explained our woes to the nearby restaurant manager, she was handed a business card for a nearby pension. We arrived to pension Arbidel the next day and met the proprietor Juan, who took more care of us... More

This was a lovely little hotel. It has rooms above their restaurant, but we stayed in one of the newly developed rooms in what were probably outbuildings in the garden. There were tables and chairs and even sunbeds in the terraced garden, right in the heart of this fishing village. The rooms were of a good size and very modern... More

Stayed here back in October. Booked it on the back of pictures from the internet, and by the looks of it we got the smallest room in the place :-). Never mind, rooms were clean, well kept, warm and perfectly good for the price paid. As others have said, the location is excellent and the town is absolutely lovely. Make... More

What an amazing place to stay at a really excellent price for the amenities provided. The owner, Juan, is one of the nicest and obliging people I have ever met who couldnt have done more for us during our stay. The place is right above the best eatery in Ribadesella (well worth a bite) and bang next door to all... More
