Spent 2 nights in an upgraded lake side room. Really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the lovely food. Not the biggest place but we will return.
The spa was peaceful and we had a relaxing massage. Some nice easy walks right on the door...More

In spite of its proximity to the Leeds and Bradford Airport, this hotel is very quiet and secluded. It feels miles from anywhere, deep in the heart of unspoiled woodlands. Plenty of wildlife around the lake too, comfortably viewed from the deck with a drink...More

The setting of the hotel is so peaceful and serene.
When we went, the outdoor hottub was closed which was a shame. The wet facilities could probably do with some updating.

I agree it is a bit confusing. The woodland rooms are just that, they are all set amongst the trees in the grounds of the hotel. One tip if you are going at this time of the year is to take a change of shoes for when you go for dinner as the paths can be a bit muddy. It's worth it though, it's a lovely place. 😊
