My family and I visited Iberostar Grand from Feb 24-28 2021. The weather in Montego Bay is perfection this time of year and our overall experience at this resort was great! Traveling during these unprecedented times can be very scary and overwhelming but we didn't feel that way at all. The resort did a really good job of enforcing mask mandates and social distancing. Most entertainment was hosted outside and because the resort was almost desolate that gave us the feel that we had the place to ourselves. Only concern was the wait while dining at most of the restaurants. In some cases it took about 2 hours from the time we sat to eat. Otherwise, the place was great. We were happy with our ocean view room and the hotel staff! Kudos to Iberostar Grand for providing us with a wonderful stay!

A weekend away with my girls was nothing less of great fun , sun and laughter . My girls friend are Irish working in Jamaica and I am a Trinidadian born cultured Jamaican - what better mix to get away from the city ? The hotel is firstly absolutely stunning - the architecture is catching to the eye - a beauty ! The service from the guards at the front gate right throughout the hotel was exceptional. First class ! On point with covid protocols ! You will feel and know you are safe.. let us speak about the food - 5 stars ! The outdoor beach restaurant hand everything fresh and tasty for any craving mood you are in. We were all impressed ! The pool and bar drinks were excellent and kept the “vibe” upbeat - please link up with Jerry . We had a DJ Mo and Gary bartender who made sure we were all entertained and well taken cared of. The rooms were extremely clean , comfortable and stocked with anything you needed - listen I partied and also rested . There is a spa , gym , gift shop , games room , quiet areas to brush up on work - 24 hour room service which was very helpful and warm . I could go on but I recommend to experience a first world experience on the north coast at Iberostar

My husband and i are Iberostar members and stayed here in February and it was fantastic! There was no buffet because of the numbers being low due to covid, so you ate at the restaurants. We had massages every day by Juliet, Zhenya, and Maxine. Thank you ladiez for your wibderful personalities, and talent! Our butlers O'brian and Duran were there checking on us to make sure we didnt want for anything. Out in the prestige beach area Ackeem Lawrence was wonderful! He had a great personality, and took great care of us out there. We loved talking with him, and feel like we have made a friend. Patrice was also a sweatheart out there. The people in Jamaica are so friendly and caring. We will definatly be back. Here are some pics of our stay.

This was either our 5th or 6th time back to same place! And for a great reason!!! They NEVER disappoint!!! We consider this to be our home away from home. We have been going here for so long the staff has become like family to us. Many remember us from trips before. But no matter what, everyone is treated special at this resort.

We returned from the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall yesterday. Our trip was February 19th through the 24th. We could not be more pleased with our choice. Service upon arrival: from the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming and very on top of safety and cleanliness. The bellman, Kenloy, made sure our bags were taken care of and escorted us to our room after an expedient check in with Teresha. Service at the pool/beach area: the bartenders Jerry & Kaveon were amazing and attentive for sure! Be sure to order a Jerry Special from Jerry, so good! You never waited to be served. The pool bar/beach servers Latecia and Kennesha were also above and beyond and so attentive. Service at the Port Maria beach restaurant was also prompt and very attentive. They have a buffet breakfast with individual servings and a table menu for lunch. Camille never left a glass empty or a finished plate on the table. The butlers O'Brien and Duran would always swing by to be sure all of our needs were attended to. If you saw the movie Mr. Deeds, they are kind of like that butler. Always around when you need them and never pestering you! For the beach entertainment and activities Lisa was superb! You will want to bring her home with you because she is so bright and cheery! She also lead the evening activities. Those varied each evening and we had a great time at all of them. The beach security guys were always present and making sure we had a relaxing environment. We did not partake in the water sports, but there were many guests that did. The staff there was also friendly and present when needed. The concierge desk was very helpful and made sure our dinner reservations were made at our preferred times. Susanna and CeCe knew their stuff! Because the resort is way below its normal capacity the resort would rotate which restaurants were serving each evening. We were able to experience each of them during our stay. They were all very good with fantastic service. Andrew at the French restaurant was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. ALL staff at the restaurants were great, I apologize for any names I am not remembering! We upgraded at the time of our reservation to a beachfront room. Well worth it in my opinion. Very roomy and had everything we needed. The mini fridge was restocked daily and the butlers would always accommodate if you wanted more of one refreshment or another. The cleaning of the room daily was very thorough. And last, but not least, the lobby bar.... Clive during the day was most accommodating and when we were passing through just before 8 am we stopped for a latte. He mentioned they opened at 8, but the coffee bar was ready and he was happy to accommodate us! Each day he was prompt and friendly with the service. Gary in the evening was not just behind the bar serving, he was so entertaining and engaging with the guests. He most definitely made everyone's evenings at the Lobby bar memorable! It was amazing to us how everyone remembered names of the guests. Granted it wasn't super full, but that is still amazing that some staff that you encounter less frequently remembered as well. Everyone addressed us by name each day. We can't say enough about the cleanliness and safety precautions the resort takes to ensure guests are comfortable, no matter what each guest's comfort level with Covid is. The covid test required prior to returning to the US is quick and they are prompt with the results. Tipping: it is of course at your discretion, and no one stands their with their hand out. We like to recognize great service and were happy to tip the staff. It is not something we did upon every single interaction, but we did make sure that we did tip. Each staff member contributes a different level during your stay so we tipped accordingly. Excursions: we only chose one during our stay. The Luminous Lagoon is a very interesting excursion. Google it. There only 5 luminescent bays in the world and the one in Jamaica is about a 20 minute ride from the hotel. Well worth it. It leaves the resort at about 5:15 pm and you are back around 8 pm as this is done at night so you can experience the water lighting up when you move. In summary, the resort is amazing. This is our 3rd Iberostar location we have travelled to and will most definitely return. Other resorts we have been to were good, but this one definitely is above the others we have been to. It is clean, safe and very accommodating.
