We had a delightful stay in the Kristina appartment. We did a lot of guest houses during our stay and the host in Fargeklatten veita (Grethe, I think), was the only one who gave us a complete tour of the appartment and gave us advices about what to do in Andenes, since the weather was bad and we had to...

We stayed in the big room (No.1) for 5 nights and spent a wonderful time. The house is decorated very thoughtful and nice, and is equipped with everything you need. Yet I think that it may get a bit crowded if all rooms are fully booked.

We stayed for 3 nights, the accommodation was fantastic, very clean and tidy, excellent facilities, well equipped kitchen. The owner and her husband are very helpful and accommodating, always ensure we had plenty of wood and lighters. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

It was a wonderful change from staying in Hotels, b&b , lodges. The apartment is very spacious. The living room is quite large, whereas the bedrooms are small, but you only stay there to sleep. We did not use the kitchen , even though it was fully equipped. We did use the washing machine and the dryer, and that was...

Old building, little space and poor maintenance. The living room where you can eat has a (illegal) video surveillance. So you must watch out what you do or say. 700NOK for å room in the size of the bed is too much.

Well everything is pretty much said from earlier guests, but we still felt the need to chime in. Grethe is a lovely hostess. We stayed in the Kristina apartment and my parents said they've never had such a comfortable stay travelling. And I agree :-)

Grethe is great host who made sure our stay was comfortable. She offered us the Christiana apartment although we had booked a single room. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable and the very efficient log burner kept us warm. Plenty of hot water too.

From beginning to end this stay was a fairy tale in a fairy tale house with an amazing hostess. This little b&b is situated at the corner of the port and is made up of 2 houses each consisting of separate rooms individually decorated in such a tasteful and magical manor that you will not only feel like you are...

We stayed in the Kristina apartment at Fargeklatten Veita, and it had everything that we could have asked for - and more. We stayed for over two weeks and the place immediately felt like home. We even had a guest of ours staying in the spare bedroom for a couple of nights, and it worked really well in this gorgeous...

We did visit Fargeklatten at the end of March '13. To be fair, we didn't spent the night, but we visited the gallery and the museum and it was a great experience ! First, there was a very nice exhibition on the main house, by a young painter from Tromsø ! Many beautiful paintings ! Then we meandered in the...
