This place is a rip-off. There were not even basic amenities like a kettle in the room. We asked them for hot water to make tea with our own tea bags. They charged us 175 Rs. per cup of hot water!!! For breakfast, on the 3rd morning they did not even give us toast. They kept telling us that we...

This Camp is beautifully situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. There are individual chalets to rent and a thatched central, large meeting hut with a fire in the middle for the evening gatherings in the winter months. So much to do and see here. A vast array of birds, butterflies and assorted wildlife. There are tigers, elephants, leopards, deer...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Camp Corbett in April 2013 and it was just what we needed after months of backpacking and the heat of Rajasthan and Delhi. The camp is incredibly peaceful and set in the buffer zone around the national park - it is possible to see plenty of wildlife without even going inside the park. We...

I visited Kaladhungi for bird watching with my sister in Nov-Dec 2011 and spent 5 days in Camp Corbett. Excellent choice for birding and I believe it gets better in December January which is the "season". The cottages were charming, clean and well-spaced in a large plot. The river/canal in the back was easily accessible and was superb birding ground....

The GM Surrinder is a great naturalist, the food is good, the rooms clean and warm and the site is alive with birds, we wish we'd spent more time here.

Overall the camp is located at a beautiful place amidst the jungles however there are a couple of reasons for me to give a poor rating to this resort. I am satisfied from the type of accommodation and food (though it was much costly as compared to what Lonely Planet Magazine has recommended in its May'11 issue). We were a...

We took a car from Delhi airport to Kaladhungi and were pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome we received at Camp Corbett. Being great fans of the legendary Jim Corbett , the proximity of the hotel to the museum was great. Our host Mrs. Anand was really warm. The rooms and the surrounding were well maintained and the amazing part...
